Overall:

Strengths: 6’6 athletic forward … Good length with 6’10.5 wingspan and 8’9.5 standing reach … Explosive and fluid athlete. Good vertical and gets off the ground quickly … Great confidence. Plays with good aggression and intensity. Constantly in attack mode. Good energy with a consistent motor. Runs the floor well and reliable finisher. Has a wide radius around the basket to finish plays, dunks everything within two long strides of the basket … Shot 61.5% from the floor over the Nike EYBL … Consistently boxes his man out. Finished third on the Nike EYBL in rebounding with 11.6 per game. Very good offensive rebounder, gets his team many second chance opportunities. Averaged 3.5 offensive boards per game over the Nike EYBL in 2016 and 3.4 per game in 2017. Good anticipation and scores a lot of points on put backs and tip slams … Very good defender, on his man and from the help side. Good shot blocker and tries to contest every shot. Averaged 1.3 blocks per game over the Nike EYBL. Active hands and can close out on the perimeter. Light on his feet and rotates well defensively, allowing him to switch and guard multiple positions … Solid passing ability … Willing screener and good roll man off picks … Very vocal …

Weaknesses: Developing touch from midrange and jump hook but doesn’t have much technique when he doesn’t finish with a dunk. Doesn’t have a low post offensive game … Lacks ball handling ability, especially with his left hand … Improved jump shot and extended his range out to three but still lacking perimeter skills, face up game, and offensive versatility. Doesn’t have a way to consistently get baskets outside of outhustling opponents and lacks a half court offensive game. A lot of his points come from catching and finishing … Only shot 58.7% from the free throw line over the Nike EYBL … Older for his class, will turn 20 around the start of the season his freshman year of college …

Outlook: Incoming LSU freshman … Broke LeBron James’ scoring record with 44 points (22-23, 95.7%) in 23 minutes to earn MVP of the Jordan Brand Classic. Also grabbed seven rebounds (four offensive) and blocked three shots … Played his senior year at West Oaks Academy after transferring from IMG Academy … Averaged 17.6 points per game over the Nike EYBL …
