Cory Joseph came in a second rounder and is still in that range, however teams came away impressed with him as a person. Going into the workout, Joseph wanted to see what teams thought of him, he came away needing a new calendar to figure out his next week.

Joseph shot the ball well from outside, excelled in pick and roll situations and showed athletic ability he didn’t get a chance to show in Texas system. Teams are sure to be racing to try and bring him in before the declaration to pull out.

Other players impressing:

Ater Majok 6’10 from UConn who played in Australia showed great improvement from what was seen when he was played mainly at center at UConn. Definitely a skilled face up power forward, Majok showed off his great touch from outside. His conditioning was very impressive and his length on defense are going to make some teams take a long look at him with a 2nd round pick. His age is still a deterrent however.

Troy Gillenwater 6’7 from New Mexico State showed great touch from the perimeter but has more of a power forwards game. Played his junior year hurt for the most part, he really improved and showed off a nice outside shot. He could become a mismatch player in the league if he gets fully healthy and plays with more intensity.

Jai Lucas 5’10 from Texas may not be an NBA prospect right now but his genes showed off his high basketball IQ in this workout that will find him a job overseas next year. Really excelled in the live work and in pick and roll situations as well as showing his range from deep.

Terrence Jennings 6’10 from Louisville showed some special athleticism with blocked shots and dunks against bigger players. Skill wise he failed to impress much.

Reggie Johnson 6’10 from Miami is an enormous specimen in the paint, showed great hands and quick feet in moving all that weight around pretty fast in small areas. Should become a quality screener and banger in the league some day.

Jeremy Green 6’3 from Stanford shot it well showing he could be an effective catch and shoot guy as a role player.
