Who would win in a 7 game series with current NBA rules? What is the BETTER TEAM not 12 players (chemistry and fit matters look at team USA losing to France twice).
All players are in their best/ prime NBA seasons..

1. This is a battle of two different styles, Zoulidier’s is a great team, but I when you break it down, I think that the matchups benefit me more, which allows me to push my style of play through dominating rebounding (Robinson versus Chris bosh).

1A) -Pippen is the best match up for Magic. On Zouldier’s side none of his top players are known as defensive players guarding Jordan. Erving and Allen were never known for their defence.

1B) This leaves Jason Kidd (an elite defender) guarding Ray Allen, and Jordan guarding Erving, Davis on Giannis and Robinson (quicker and bigger) on Bosh. All of these matchups are in my favour. Including the bench (Dumars, Artest, Dwight/ Walton).

1C) Bosh versus Robinson- David Robinson would simply be too big, too physical and too athletic for Chris bosh. So would Davis, Dwight and Walton (over Ewing). I think this translates to dominating the rebounding and the paint on both sides- which means I’d have a huge advantage on controlling the tempo of the game which benefits me. (Anthony Davis and Giannis equal out roughly, and David Robinson is one of the few bigs that matches up perfectly with Giannis quickness wise).
1D) off the bench? Most teams only play 8 man rotations. Dumars will be the first guard off the bench, Artest the first forward and Walton (1rst team all defence) or Dwight 1rst big. With this 8/9 man line-up there is zero defensive liability to attack, while multiple defensive weaknesses to attack on my side. David Robinson matches up perfectly if he wants to play Giannis at the 5.

2.) “This team can only play the triangle” False.
This roster has Robinson, Dwight and Davis- some of the quickest big men of all time. Bill Walton- A Jokic type passer. Jason Kidd, the perfect up tempo point guard, as well as all players in their prime athletically

In conclusion, when you break it down I think the matchups benefit me more. With no defensive liability versus several liabilities (drazen/ Luka played as needed), I can control the matchups- which leads to controlling the rebounding and paint- and dictating what tempo is played. In a battle of tempo’s this rebounding edge (Robinson versus Bosh) benefits my style much more.

Zouldiers
Beating Prime MJ and Phil Jackson in a 7 game series is a tall order for sure but my team is capable of beating his team. Being fixated on the triangle will be their downfall as it makes them predictable and easy to stop on offense and Gregg will be able to game plan against that. Plus, the only one capable on his team in shutting down Magic is Pippen but that leaves Kidd chasing Allen around or stopping Dr.J and that’s not ideal for a 7 game series. MJ is the GOAT but he wouldn’t be there without the influence of Dr.J so again I like my chances there. Giannis at the 5 is a matchup nightmare for his bigs and it limits his lineup by forcing AD at the 5, which AD doesn’t like so that’s an issue. Bosh is also capable of guarding 4/5 and he can stretch the defense so again he presents a problem against his bigs. Ewing and Thurmond can slow down his bigs and Hill will cancel out Artest. Westbrook and Maravich would have a field day against Luka and Petrovic and unless Dumars guards one of them, that leaves Richmond open for 3. While Artest is busy against Hill, Melo can iso and score at will. His team won’t be able to stop our transition attack and his team will be on a track meet in a 7 game series with Magic, Dr.J and Giannis and Westbrook off the bench which gets them exhausted. If anyone can outcoach Phil, it’s Gregg Poppovich and honestly I like my chances against MJ especially when you have Magic and Dr.J

This is a tight one can you go against the triangle with it’s three main architects?
Zouldiers has more depth and better bench scoring plus if anyone could figure out a way to beat the Bulls axis it’s Pops with Magic pulling the strings. But CBR has Robinson who knows Pops system inside out.

Okay Magic and Pops reached numerous finals but were beaten whilst the Jordan era Bulls never lost a final so I’m going with Canada basketball is rising

Although I don’t think CBRs team is unbeatable, I’m not sure this is the squad to knock them off. While the strategy for Zouldiers would seem to be to get out in transition and overwhelm with speed and athleticism, I’m not sure that there is enough shooting on the floor when this ultimately boils down to a half court game. And Zouldiers doesn’t really have enough versatility to add shooting without sacrificing defense. I see this as being a somewhat competitive series, but CBR has the upper hand with Jordan.

Ironically, the kicker for this matchup to me was David Robinson it to big a problem for Zouldiers… Your team had that problem solved with Olajuwon. Julius and Jordan would be a great game of H.O.R.S.E. within the game in this one.
