What are the chances Ja or RJ fall out of the top 3? Who could break into the top 3? 

Side note: Why doesnt Melo Ball join a top college program as a non-scholorship prefferred walk on? Something similar to what Enes Kanter did at Kentucky.

there were reports that Knicks were considering Culver at number 3 actually. If someone can make this kind of pick, it’s the Knicks

Barrett is so far more advanced than Doumbouya, who has been playing pro for two years already for three years now. Despite his inconsistency from outside and some games with too much turnovers, Barrett also had some special games like his triple double with 0 turnover against NC State or his 33pts 13rbds against UNC.

You gotta be crazy to draft Culver before Barrett, the Knicks can definitely make that move…

 RJ Barrett. Duh. The only real question is do they try and package him for an established superstar.

And this whole "’Cause its the Knicks" Narrative needs to chill. First, when have the knicks selected top 5? When have they made the wrong choice? Was Gallo really that bad at 6? People need to realize that the Knicks ineptitude has NOTHING to do with their draft record. It has everything to do with Not having their picks in the first place.

Drafting anyone outside that top group is very wasteful cos if you aren’t interested in Barrett, it’s much better to trade down and pick up an asset as other teams want that slot. Drafting Sekou in the top 3 is a very New York Knicks thing to do though – they act like someone thats always broke that just keeps gambling their money every time they get paid.

Culver has been getting a lot of press lately. I’d take him 8th, but it sounds like he’s going 3-6. Here are my notes on Culver:

Very tall for 6’6”, long, lean. Great balance, long extension on his shot. I’m not wild about his form. It just needs some tweaking. Not broken. Good under pressure. Good fundamentals. No first step, but uses body well. Plays strong, but isn’t strong yet.  Good passer. A little slow for a SG. Should be a SF. Can go either direction really well. Really good euro-step in transition. 48/32/71 (4 3’s/game). 

I have trouble believing he could go 3rd and it also sounds like the Lakers aren’t into him at 4. 

No way Doumbouya goes 3rd. But 4th pick is a crapshoot.

 Lol. NO way Morant goes 3rd. I’ve heard from one expert culver is a guaranteed top 3 pick. I’ll laugh if Barrett falls to the lakers or cavs. Good players should play for good organizations.

 I’ve got to get round to posting my mock but I’m with the majority that Zion and Morant go 1st and 2nd. I agree that RJ is the likely 3rd pick but I’d suggest that the Knicks will take a look at most guys on the consensus top 10 to see if they might have missed anything or there is someone else they really like. If someone impresses them, I wouldn’t neccessarily advocate passing on RJ but maybe seeing what the trade down options are. Teams would probably be happy to trade up and get RJ so Knicks could get a good package.

The Knicks also have a lot of salary space and might even consider flipping the pick for a proven All Star level guy but I feel they would only do this if they intend to or think that DeAndre Jordan would stay and they can then get another high level guy via FA.
