They look like the worst team this season so far. How would you rank them among the worst teams in nbas recent history?

they are pretty bad. david kahn has just added players with no plan it seems like. now im a fan of rebuilding through the draft, but minny needs to get more experience. does this team have a legit veteran? and dont say darko. they have just collected talent, even if they dont fit the system. minny needs to start trading some of their young guys for legit talent(maybe like jeff green if he were available). add guys that have shown they can play. and they need to take a chance in the draft this year. they need to get a superstar and build around him. wes johnson, lazar haywood, kevin love are good pieces but only with a real number 1 option.

I think they’d be a LOT better with a different coach. Rambis’ fumbling attempts to run the triangle just don’t work with this group of players. This group isn’t actually that bad talent-wise, but Rambis is inconsistent with his rotations and doesn’t seem to have the confidence of the players – I’m calling a new coach by the end of the season.

I am a Timberwolves fan and I must say they absolutely suck. I blame almost all of there problems on David Kahn. In the past two years the Wolves have had the more lottery picks then any other team and they have little to show for it. Over the two years in control he has drafted four PG three SF one SG and three C’s. Kahn obviously has no vision for the Wolves future.

2010

Wesley Johnson – Like him but really only had one real productive year in college and he is already 23. Could be a nice glue guy but will never be a number one option.

Luke Babbitt – For the ten minutes that the Wolves had Babbitt I was actually happy about this pick. 6-8 and a shooter who could come off the bench and provide points. But they trade Babbitt and Ryan Gomes (11.4 points per game and 45% FG, and 5 reb per game) to Portland for Martell Webster. Webster with a whooping 8.5 points per game and shooting 40% from the field would not be a good trade for just Gomes but to add a prospect too. Just awful.

 2009

Ricky Rubio – Sure the guy looks like he is going to be a good player one day. It is a really good chance that he never plays for the Wolves. Who would draft a guy this high not knowing if he would come and play.

Jonny Flynn – I love this guy in college. Flynn is a high energy player who likes to score he is fearless going to the basketball. But he is not a starting PG in the NBA, and I simply would not draft a small PG in the lottery that plays the way he does. Because he is fearless going to the basket he will always be hurt.

 

The point I am trying to make is the Wolves will be in the cellar for a long time and as long as Rambis and Kahn have anything to do with the Wolves they will be awful.

PS. Really I could have just said they signed Darko to a four year deal up to 20 mill. Enough said
