 Im tuning on Espn and all the panelists are hating on the move for the lakers saying they got older and worst on defense. This may be true , but lets look at the bright side. Nash makes his teamates better, I believe Gasol will look alot better playing along side Nash, also Kobe will not have to handle the ball so much and this can create more open jumpers for him and maybe post ups. Look at the PG’s the Lakers have had in the past couple years: Fisher , and Sessions, neither a good defensive player neither a good passer. Now with Nash buying in to Mike Brown’s grind it out defense plus his effectiveness on the pick and roll will only help the Lakers. Also cant forget the fact that when the Lakers post up witch they do about 60% of the time they can kick it out to one of the best shooters ever. To end my argument I want to add that the Lakers are in win mode RIGHT NOW! Kobe aint getting younger.  What do you guys think about the move please tell me!

 It’s a good move simply because they got him for virtually nothing. Late round firsts and seconds aren’t all that useful the majority of the time. I dislike the move because as a sports fan, I would rather see Nash in Toronto. From a purely basketball standpoint though, the Lakers got substantially better. The offense should be much less stagnant next year.
