ChewyParticipantis coming back! Really had no faith that the NCAA would overturn their decision, but they did. Hopefully, Dotson comes back as well. Dotson was the 2nd most important player on KU last year and should be even more effective as a Soph. Grimes seems prepared to play in the G-League or overseas instead of returning to KU.

celtics1982ParticipantWe just don’t have enough information. I will say a lot and I mean a lot more than will, should return. Wasn’t there over a 100 early entry guys? Then the seniors, then international guys.
At the same time two way contracts have also changed things. You have a much easier path to the NBA now if you go undrafted. It’s no longer a horrible thing to go undrafted if you’re good enough to have teams fighting over signing you after the draft.
The other thing I struggle with is are we looking at what’s best for long-term career or the players earnings? Like look at Bolden, if he came out as a freshman he might have went late first, early second. Would have got a good amount of money just based on upside. Now he likely doesn’t get drafted. Staying was right for his development, he still needs a ton more, yet it wasn’t smart for his bank account. It’s such a tricky hard to answer question.

kerrstParticipantI agree that alot of players will go back to their school programs. Reading information from the combine and the players who didn’t get invited to the combine, I think a bunch of players have hurt their stock and will go back such as: King, Lawson, Norvell, Queta, Tillie, Shittu, Wigginton and Battle to name a few. I personally think guys like Dortz, KZ, Horton-Tucker and Mcdaniels should go back to raise their stock.

Scrooge McDuckParticipantDort and Battle should not go back. Both are flat out terrible enough to not get drafted next year. Elijiah Hughes also from Syracuse I think will be a 1st rounder next year. Another Syracuse guy, Oshae Brisett will be a good role player. Reminds me of Antwan Jamison. A tweener. He has smooth moves in the post, he’s quick, yet not a post player.

celtics1982ParticipantI’d say better chance he goes first round, heck he might go first round this year.

MkadozaParticipantElijah Hughes will be the next Danny Green. Doesnt have a ton of ball handling skill, though he can manage off the ball. Has a TON of shooting potential, as many of his shots had to bail out Cuse with the clock winding down. Brissett is more of a poor mans Aminu. Brissett does NOT have the range to be a Jamison.
