CordellHatleyParticipantI know that I usually write long post but there is not much to be said. James Harden and Blake Griffin are the two players that are tearing up the NCAA. The numbers that they are putting up are staggering. It is going to be great to see them compete for the top spot in the 2009 nba draft. Trust me Harden will compete for the top spot when it is all said and done. The production, or lack there of, of highly touted big men ala Michael Beasley and Greg Oden (I still believe in them) will open up the draft for impact guards. The NBA has seen a wave of ready guards like Chris Paul, Deron Williams and most recently OJ Mayo and the hometown superstar Derrick Rose. This wave will make the sometimes easy decison to “Go Big” a little harder for GM’s come draft time.

James-Harden-13Participanti love you dont worry about your long posts, you are one of the people that makes this message board great. as for the all ncaa first and second teams. i saw some i liked and some that were ridiculous. i saw one guy that had scotty hopson on their second team. what? this is not rivals.com 3 months before the season started. the guy has done nothing. another dude had jeremy pargo as his 1st team pg. i like him a lot and i’m from chicago but i dont think he has played well enough to deserve 1st team status.

McAlarneyrox23ParticipantWhy isn’t Kyle McAlarney on the mock draft? He is a great shooter and takes his time. He isn’t posted on any of the mock drafts that I’ve seen and should’ve been because of his abilities. I’m an ND fan, especially for McAlarney and really hope that he gets on a good team or a team I like.

themidnightriderParticipantThese picks are college based only and don’t have anything to do with NBA potential
PG: Levance Fields. Does what a PG should- great Assist/Turnover ratio, clutch, leader
SG: Gerald Henderson. Yeah he is listed at forward, but you know he is a SG
SF: Earl Clark. But only because he is a combo forward. Considerations to James Johnson and Sam Young
PF: Jordan Hill. Doubt he can do it in the NBA tho…prob only 6-8?
C: DeJuan Blair. He is a college center and he manhandled Thabeet.0 -
