Recently I had the opportunity to witness in person the play of Vladimir Dasic a 6’10” UBER SKILLED small forward , his club Buducnost out of Montenegro played Partizan of Belgrade,Serbia and Dasic smoothly posted 19 pts ( 4 of 6 from the 3 line ) 14 rebs 6 assists and 4 blocks . This is what oozes from him when he wants to play but often he seems disinterested in going all out. Last year at the Treviso Reebok Camp he consistently outplayed Victor Claver whom you have going early in the first round this year. I believe Dasic will be the STEAL of the draft this year , he is very athletic and long , has good strength and a jaw dropping skill set, can penetrate off of the dribble, a feathery jumper , dunks on people in spectacular fashion and has great court vision. A few NBA scouts already are familiar with his immense skills and potential and I am sure they are playing possum with draft prognosticators in order to steal this GEM of a talent in June’s draft. He will be in the NBA this year and not as you predict a mid second rounder in 2010- pay attention !!
