Why for Detroit: Drummond just a bad fit next to Blake, in today game team much better play Blake as a miss match 5, Batum provide them a quality SF and wing defender they need, also can mentor Sekou Doumbouya a fellow franch guy who they just drafted.

Why for Charlotte: if they keep Kemba, Drummond would be on point addition that would provide defensive anchor and presence inside around all the outside scorers and small ball forwards they have.

Why not? Batum’s not that good. You’re seriously overrating him. From a talent standpoint, we would lose this trade. We’d also have no way of replacing his rebounding. We’d have a massive hole at centre with no real ability to get one (unless you think Maker is NBA starter quality), because good FA do not sign in Detroit.

 I don’t think either is that good, but I do think Detroit needs to change that going nowhere diraction and trade one of Drummond and Blake, who aren’t work together… And it should be Drummond as Blake the better player while Drummond contract more tradable… Blake would be the center like I said after the trade, you  playing small ball and lose some rebounding but you can build that way some death like lineup

 Butum is 5 years older and not the same level of player as Drummond is. If Charlotte had thrown in their 12th pick this year then Pistons may have considered it and taken best young big available.
