5. Nomoney vs. Mcdunkin

A great long rivlary over the funniest and best at posting gifs. They even started their own groups awhile back called like the avengers or revengers. Might not be so big now, but still a big rivlary in site history.

4. Mikeyv vs. kanyedabest

These two just dont seem to get a long. Mikey offers advice and gets hit with the prima donna label. Mikey seems to call out kanye often. These two more then likely dont like eachother and honestly its entertaining.

3. DNYCE vs. Everyone

No name strikes fear into the heart of posters like DNYCE. No one has his complete package of bias, arrogance, lack of intelligence and straight up d-baggery. 

2. Leroy vs. Rudeboy

This started off as rudeboy teasing leroy. Leroy definitely took it personal and has hated rudeboy since. I dont think any has more hate for another person then leroy does for rudeboy. 

1. Daneboy vs. Mcdunkin

When you see daneboy post, you just know a great mcdunkin diss is on the way. Mcdunkin will usually whine and not do anything in return but daneboy makes this so entertaining. No bigger rivalry on this site.

This is something that started recently (If it happened before, I do not remember very well). I call out a lot of people, but I usually do it to try and offer some constructive criticism or an opinion. Sometimes it is when I pick up on something that gets on my nerves, sometimes it is when someone is being (I feel) hypocritical, either way, it is not meant to be malicious and is not meant to start a beef. Well, I did this recently with kanyedabest, regarding this post:

While he is absolutely entitled to his opinion about LeBron, I felt that his statement was fairly untrue (for reasons I stated) and even hinged with a slight bit of hypocrisy seeing that his avatar, Jay Cutler, has many of the same characteristics (seen as being egotistical and fading in the clutch, being the most popular). He than comes up with a bunch of reasons Cutler is not like LeBron, which were besides the point of reasons he is similar. This goes on to say "stop saying I hate him" (though, if you check, the word was not used before he brought it up) and "stop accusing me of hating him". Ends it with the very necessary "fa-g".

This lead to further messages and finally, the very famous introduction of a mythical creature known as "highhorse". Apparently I am on a "highhorse" and need to get down. I also have been accused of "looking down on people and shaking their finger at them, though behind closed doors doing the same thing". When trying to explain that I had not judged anything he had said beyond what he had written on the internet and explaining I had not made any personal judgements about him otherwise, I have been constantly brought back to my needing to dismount my "highhorse" and that I am apparently making personal judgements about other posters. Really, I just dislike people in fact calling others names and trying to use that to bring peoples arguments down.

Personally, I hold no hostility towards kanye, and have tried to tell him so. This has yet to be met with any response, at least one I have seen. His latest post http://staging.nbadraft.net/forum/black-quarterback-touchy-subject, has him doing what he has done to me to other people. Well, if you do it to me, that is one thing, I do not really care. But, when start pulling that garbage on other people, I am not cool with that. I just think their would be a much better way to get everything across without making it personal. When you start bringing things outside of this board into it, truly does nothing for your argument and usually just does a tremendous job of making it look weaker. So, to say I do not like him would not be true. I think he more than likely has a lot to offer. To say I do not like what he did to the other posters today, well, that is absolutely true. Just wanted to say, I am very willing to squash everything, always am open to it. Still, I think that kanye should indeed apologize to Rudeboy and M-DYMES, along with anyone else he made a personal statement about other than myself. Just think their is really no reason for it and I do not know how it helps get anyones point across.

That was a monster. Anyway, let me now comment about the actual post itself. Fairly awesome. We have had some epic arguments and "beefs" on this site. Scarecrow and I started off as a beef and actually turned into a friendship, so that was cool. Ultimately, it is pretty hard for me to complete give up on somebody. I would like to believe in the good in everyone, even if it takes some bad to bring that out :). I would say that LeRoy versus Rudeboy is my favorite, though DanEBoy versus McDunkin provided what I tend to see as maybe the greatest thing in forum history.

The best thing is, all of these have context and history. Like, for instance, everyone who has beefed with McDunkin visibly also think he is awesome (I would say that Dan, NoMoney and myself probably make up a good 5% of his point history). We also had tli vs. butidonthavemoney, auber vs. btown kid, the list goes on and on. Really cool community we have here, thanks for the memories Mysterion, I like this post. One thing I will say is, I am not a huge fan of other people trying to start something between others. It has happened a few times before, but people are usually disappointed when they find my intent is not to just start fights with people, but to try and get everyone to be the best that they can. If people have a problem with me and give me constructive points to work on, than I am actually all for it.

And I am that weird guy who punched Lil’ B in the face, than made an explanation video calling him "bread" a lot (I think he was saying "brother" or "breth", but it just sounded weird). Actually, a better way of putting it is, McMaryJane is Rick James and I am Charlie Murphy. He is a star, and he is my homie. But, once in a while, he gets out of hand and I have to straighten him out :).

 

M-DYMES, like the thought about the battle rhymes. Here are a few favorites (not necessarily the best, just a few I like a lot from some awesome MC’s):

KRS-One (The king of battling, in my opinion) on MC Shan/Marley Marl/The Juice Crew

Common on Ice Cube (Cube felt like "I Used to Love H.E.R" had verses negatively depicting him. He came with this "I’m bombin’ on Common Sense/Chicago is mine, nigg@ hit the fence" line on a Westside Connection track. Common decided to hit back, turned out pretty well in my opinion)

 Biggie on Nas/Raekwon/Jeru the Damaja among others

Nas on Jay-Z (I know you already had "Ether", but I loved this remix that 9th Wonder did off of "God’s Stepson". I personally like it better than the original. The sample of the horns is incredibly similar to Jay-Z’s "Friend or Foe", and I think it just works out incredibly well. I like most of the tracks off of "God’s Stepson" better than "God’s Son".)

Gang Starr/MOP on Jeru the Damaja (Love Jeru, but I know that he had a messy split up with his former Gang Starr Foundation team. Just a great track on setting some things straight, Guru kills it.)

 Eminem on Cage (Just a nice freestyle, Eminem is indeed a great battle rapper)

 Canibus on LL Cool J (One of the most famous beefs in Hip-Hop which produced this classic diss track after LL, according to Bis, "studied my rhymes, than laid your vocals after mine")
