Different perspectives are healthy IMO….. but this is the opposite of what the Thunder should do. Sam Presti has proven to be one of the best drafting GM’s in the business, as evidence of his selection of three straight MVP winners without having a #1 pick. Crazy to think about that.

The Thunder need to take this opportunity to move off of Westbrook’s contract, and start the re-tool around SGA. Shai is a great prospect & having him plus their mountain of other picks has given OKC a great chance to return to relevence after three straight 1st rd exits.

 It may sound a bit crazy but Westbrook for Lowry plus a pick or two could work. The Thunder get a big expiring deal and an All Star Level guy. The Raptors get a new star and would still have FA space next summer to sign a running mate for Westbrook.

It’s an East and West trade too.

 I don’t know what we will end up doing but from reports out there at the moment: The Thunder will trade Westbrook to an agreeable situation..Personally I think it will happen in next offseason or at the deadline when new deals can be moved.

This probably will either be a big market team or one where he has friends on the team.

So Houston,Detroit for possible friend teams maybe even Heat with Butler(if they are friends)

Heat,Knicks,Toronto,Spurs and Chicago for Big market teams that may make a move for him.

But a wild card move would be this though..Hear me out as it could be sort of random thing presti could pull off… So firstly this is assuming we can’t move Russell,Which is plausible and we may have to wait until next offseason realistically when teams have some cap room.This is more of a this way Russell finishes his deal with OKC for lols sort of thing(I know this probably won’t happen)..

First move: Kevin love for Danilo Gallanari,Pattrick Patterson and one of the Heat picks and one  of the Clippers picks. Reason cavs do this is to do K-love a solid as he has said he always wanted to play with Russ. Reason we do this is to do Russ a solid and to get a stretch 4 beside Adams.

Second Move: Bradley Beal for Dennis Schroder, Andre Roberson,Terrance Ferguson + The remainder of the picks from PG trade so 1 heat pick,One of our future first and 2 clippers picks and a second rounder.  Reason Washington does this is to a) save cap, b) get picks to either help move Wall or speed up the rebuild around Rui and c) To Beal a solid of reuniting with his college coach + Russ who suits Beals timeline.

This Gives OKC a Team of the following:

Adams,Love,Insert sf here, Beal and Russ Bench Noel, SGA,Diallo,Darius and Mike M We would still be in Cap hell but at least this would be a contender Russell could go down swinging with lol
