ShayokParticipantThon Maker, who is an honorable mention NBA elite talent on this site just went head to head with Deandre Ayton the #1 prospect of all classes at the Under Armour All American Camp.
Deandre Ayton: 7pts 6 rebounds
Thon Maker: 23 pts 17 rebounds
I’m confused.
What is the criteria again to be considered an Elite NBA prospect for this site?

Rip255I’d love to see some footage of this matchup if anyone has some.
The Nike Hoops Summit left people confused. They assume cos he got outplayed by Skal (12mths older)…that he wasn’t impressive.
This guy still has an outrageous ceiling. He’s legit 7’1" and learning how to use his body. Coordination is the only barrier (not weight…like some misinformed people will have you believe). He could easily go #1 in his class if he gets a soft touch by the end of his College season.

EspressoprodigyParticipanti havent seen anything on i but the last game İ saw with Maker, he was all over the place. Hes still learning how to use his body like rip said and still putting his skill set to use in the right way. he makes some moves that leave wondering how he didnt score but comes back next play and makes the right play… making it efficient to keep passing it to him.
