Idk if anyone watched the sixers last night but their struggles finding any rhythm against the 2-3 zone were very apparent. The heat played with length at the top of the zone and Embiid was significantly limited in his activity and clearly frustrated by the zone D. The Sixers outside shooting is so hit or miss and tonight they were missing for the majority of the game. So much of the Sixers offense is run through Embiid or in the mid-range game; their performance against the zone was very worrisome moving forward. They were completely exposed against it. They are not a 3 point shooting team by nature with exception to the corner 3. Embiid was off from deep yet again. I found it very troubling to watch.

Even so, they fought back and hung in there to make it a close game by the end. They really have to work on beating the zone D but give props to the heat who played them very well for 3 quarters. Brett Brown needs to put in some serious work on ball movement with the team.
