Maybe I’m just living in the moment but is this the greatest turnaround in NBA history as far as roster construction goes?  Just two years ago the Nets five leading scorers were Brook Lopez, Jeremy Lin, Trevor Booker, Bojan Bogdanovic and somebody called Sean Kilpatrick.  They also had barely any desireable assets after the infamous trade with the Celtics.

He has turned that craapshoot into a young playoff team that max free-agents want to be apart of and now following this redshirt year due to Durant’s injury they will be in the mix in the Eastern conference for probably rthe next 5 years (hoping Durant overcomes his injury obviously).

    Kudos sir.

Next 5 years contenderto disagree here.  Durant and Irving both have injury concerns.  Irving is a chemistry killer.  Not sure why durant would want to play with him..

If he has landed the rumoured big 3 then it is a great coup but it all depends on KD getting back fit and playing to his previous peak.

KD going East will certainly make things interesting.

If post-Achilles KD is only 75% the athlete that pre-Achilles KD was, that’s still basically like Dirk circa 2011.

Nets are going to be really good *this* year; if Kawhi goes to LA they’re top three in the East. The following year they’re legit title contenders. Yes, Sean Marks is another brilliant basketball mind out of the Spurs system!
