    So if the Kings get Favors, they’d likely want him to play right away. Both Landry and Hawes contract it make them fairly tradable. Nocioni is in the doghouse and will also likely be moved. What can the kings get for a Hawes/Nocioni deal or Landry/Nocioni deal?

    After doing research I’ve come up with the most financially feasible options. If you are a fan of the other team, would you accept Hawes/Nocioni or Landry/Nocioni? Note: All of the guys below have 2 years or less remaining on contract (per hoopshype.com/salaries)

    Bobcats = Tyson Chandler = $12,750,000 (shot blocker)
    76ers = Samuel Dalembert = $12,200,000
    Pacers = Troy Murphy = $11,968,253
    Pistons = Tayshaun Prince = $11,148,760
    Washington = Josh Howard = $11,835,000
    Pacers = Mike Dunleavy = $10,561,984
    Suns = Jason Richardson = $14,444,444 (numbers don’t match but could possibly do sign and trade with either Hawes or Landry)
    Spurs = Richard Jefferson = $15,000,000 (same as the Suns trade)

    Why not trade Thompson/Nocioni and Lottery pick for Boozer and Lottery Pick…

    Boozer would fit better off the bat and gives you an all star around your young core…you get rid of Noci and trade back in the draft and get a cheaper pick…sleepers like Aminu/Henry/Whiteside would fill roles…If you dont get #1 which I feel u might(either the Kings or Sixers will win the pick) trade back and get a star…Utah would love to move into position to Draft Turner or Wes Johnson…cannot Sign Boozer and would love to add toughness and shooter in Noci and young Big to replace Okur in Thompson…

      The only problem with this scenario is the willingness of Boozer to agree to sign and trade to Kings. Otherwise, he’d just sign with whomever he chooses. Plus, then we’d have Boozer and Landry. Not sure how that will work.

    Honestly, I wouldnt trade Landry for any of those players. I really liked what he showed this season, esspecialy after the trade. He is a guy that you want to keep on your roster. He is a solid individual and a team leader who does everything the right way. Trade nocioni for a second round pick and an expiring contract and call it a day. He shoots way too much and the drunk just brings everyone around him down.

    As for that jazz trade I would do that if Boozer wanted to come here, but I think he is already packing his bags for Miami. I wouldn’t mind seeing a Hawes Nocioni deal but I don’t think many other teams like these players enough to give things up for them. If the kings win the draft we know who they take. If not take Favors or Cousins and hopefuly pick up bledsoe in the second round.

    I agree with what you say about Landry. I like everything about him. His game is the most different from the other 4’s on the team (Brockman, Dorsey, Mays, McGuire).

    Two reasons why I include him:
    1) He’ll want a long term contract after this season otherwise he’s gone for nothing, similar to Boozer.
    2) Not sure about this but just saying if we get Favors; Landry (for 4 year deal) will stunt Favor’s growth at PF. (Although Landry has said he’s working on his outside game so he can play SF more).

    On the draft note, I just think Favors is the best big man this year by a big margin. Comparing apples to oranges but I’d take Favors over Cousins.

    Bottom line is I’d love to keep Landry if we could, just thinking it’s not going to work out.

    As a Jazz fan I would take the Thompson, Nocioni deal for Booz. But not Hawes. Hawes is just another version of Kosta Koufus, no thanks. Thompson would probably start if Booz leaves, if he stays then Thompson would be a back up. As for Nocioni he would always be a back up because both Johnson and Turner deserve to start.

    i wouldnt want any of those players comming to Sac our style is hardnose ball and developing young players those guys rather help teams go for championships… The Kings are a good team in the making and i see us way ahead of other teams trying to rebuild GSW (they really only have 2 good players Ellis and Curry and they cant play d to save their lives), TWOLVES (but they do have bigs and a pg just need the middle guys), BUCKS (though they rather pick up free agents now that they feel they are a playoff team), NETS (obivous), KNICKS (obvious), Wizards (they dont really have anyone now),

    we gonna deal Nocioni if he wants to go (he doesnt fit emotionally but his game fits ours love his game hate his attitude) and lose a couple of those little bigs ie May, and that other dude they just dont fit

    i think we will pass on Favors and go for a Center only if we cant get Cousins im dead serious about getting Whiteside (Grant even said a player that would help the team would be a Marcus Camby type it doesnt have to be him but someone like him hint hint Whiteside is compared to Camby), we have Landry & Thompson at the 4 with Landry starting Hawes is too soft so a defending 5 is really what will help

    The rest of the question doesn’t need to be asked because there is no way Favors is lasting to #5.
