Andv1 WaitingParticipantQuestion for everyone?
What were/are the Breakers thinking?
Poor old R.J Hampton got very little burn in the Preseason match vs Grizzlies…
Not saying they shouldn’t try pump up the N.Z players like Webster etc looking for an NBA team invite but…Shouldn’t they be trying to get as much exposure for their prospect ala Lamelo Ball model in Illawara to try get more to come over next year/ next season? For better global brand exposure?

HobbyOGParticipantHe played 20 miutes..went 1-8 shooting and had one assist..
NO..they should focus on getting the team better, chemistry, and all that other shyt that win games..can’t cater to one dude whose only going to be there for one season…who cares about "getting him exposure" espically if he’s playing like shyt on the court..

Memphis MadnessParticipantI was at the game. RJ Hampton didn’t look that good. Looked small. Unless he gets a lot better or gets his timing then he is mostly a MEH prospect, someone in that 5-10 range or something.

festar35ParticipantYes Hampton is over here playing & yes he is a potential top pick for the upcoming draft, but if he ain’t helping us win then he will sit.
It’s still a professional league & the Breakers are pushing for a Championship, they ain’t just going to play Hampton for the sake of playing him because it’ll help him out.

Andv1 WaitingParticipantSorry I only meant for the NBA pre-season trying to get as much exposure as possible for NBA Scouts/NBA Teams… Not NBL season if he is stinking then I agree your comments.
