I will begin by reformation with a short manifesto on Lebron James:
Lebron James is the best basketball player in the world. I have no sort of man-crush on him and I root against him always, unless he is playing the Celtics, but he is undeniably the best, in my opinion. Where some people overrate Kobe because most of all that he does is score and play on a Phil Jackson (that is, successful) team. Lebron is the total package. He did not average a triple double like he wanted to this past season, but he was still one of the best passers for a man his size and, conversely, one of the best rebounders for a man his size. Because of his length and athleticism and strangth, his defense is among the best when he is giving full effort. I don’t think he gives 100% all the time, but that doesn’t mean he isnt the BEST player of his generation. The championships thing, I dont read much into. Before this season, he was on the Cavs with nobody but Mo Williams and some good role players. And this season, there were 4 or 5 great teams, so no team, even the Heat, had better than a 35% chance at winning it all, and James came darn close. NBA players (and human beings, in general) are becoming faster and stronger every generation, and so I think it is reasonable to call Lebron, POTENTIALLY, the greatest player of all time. My grandchilren love him, and I think he is a fine player as well.

ProudGrandpa, we do not accept your apology. +1 McDunkin
