    I wasnt sure if something like this should be talked about even in the off-topic section of this site but for people that followed the case whats your opinion on the verdict?

    I graduated high school in 2008 and that’s when the trial started, it feels like eternity and I’m glad it’s over.

    I think she should have been charged with 1st degree murder, she seems crazy! She is a sociopath, who lied throughout this whole entire case, which means in my book you’re always trying to hide something. She didn’t even seem remorseful. She lied about the nanny and she use that chemical to knock her out and didn’t she duct tape her 2 year old daughter’s mouth? It’s such a shame that a innocent girl had to die like that.

    Btw, Nancy Grace is SO annoying.

    not to bring up race everywhere on my FB is saying "Well, if she was black…." … and honestly, being a person of color, I can’t really argue that too. I am not taking any shots on any white people but lets face, they just have an extra cushion compared to others and this case kind of supports that.

    Such a sad story that justice was not served IMO

    It’s a shame that an OJ-Simpson like upside down ruling was handed down by the jury. They could’ve easily convicted her of a  lesser charge, if the death penalty was an issue. The fact that justice wasn’t served in this case is a blow to the American legal system, considering the pure irrelevance of her defense attorney’s (Baez) arguments.

    @I amy be based, yeah, I also don’t want to make it a big deal, but race sort of impacted the case. I have no clue how they didn’t convict her of murder! I read the Wikipedia page for he trial, and all the evidence implies that it was her. Oh, well, what happened happened.

    every single piece of evidence pointed at her doing it. I really dont think race played any factor seeing as how she murdered her white 2 year old child. I dont think even the most racist of white juror is gonna think, yeah but murdering your 2 year old is cool as long as you’re white. The crime was one that transcends race. I mean almost everyione was calling her guilty and that includes white people. Jury just dropped the ball and i would love to hear their reasoning.

    hopefully she gets karma in the end to come back and bite her. What a garbage human.
