ShyhillParticipantBeing that Kevin Martin is unoficially heading to the Twolves which SG’s should they be looking at.
Personally I like a short-term deal to swing Jr Smith or Nate Robinson + Bench depth/3 pt shooting. I’d like to see Westbrook at the 2 with Nate running point dangerous scoring punch.0 -

JayhawkFan23ParticipantMan, times like these I wish we would’ve kept Harden. I liked the idea of JR Smith, but he signed a new deal with the Knicks. We had Robinson last year, but he barely got any playing time, and we released him about halfway into the season. I don’t see him coming back personally. I’ve been hearing that OKC is interested in signing Dorell Wright, but I don’t think he would play SG, who knows what his role would be. And don’t sleep on Jeremy Lamb. The kid has great potential, all I can do is pray he will make the James Harden trade not lopsided one day. So if the Thunder do sign Wright, and assuming that’s the best guy they get in FA’s, I could see a lineup of Westbrook, Lamb, Durant, Ibaka, and Perkins, with Wright maybe being the sixth man. I hope we amnesty Perkins though. It will be interesting to see what happens though.

MrManalo43ParticipantI’m actually pretty excited about Roberson to be honest lol I know he played SF/PF in college but he’s more than athletic enough to be at the 2 spot AND at 6’7 206 lbs, he’s:
1. more athletic than Sefalosha (Sef is 6’7 210 lbs)
2. he’ll develop a decent 3pt shot (already had 30 something % in college with a decent form)
3. defense is already a specialty of his (he’s also got a 6’11 wingspan. i’d say that’s a plus) [potential to be a lockdown defender like Sef ]
4. his main specialty, rebounding (which Sef doesn’t have), is a huge plus when he slides to the SF spot during a small lineup
5. he’s a hustle guy on every play. (more than Sef)
6. he can pack on at most 10-15 lbs in a year or two without losing a step
7. he doesn’t need to be amazing on Offense (like Sefalosha). He’ll get his own on kick outs beyond the arch and garbage buckets (much like Kawhi Leonard) he’ll be able to play off of every body else as a high energy guy on the offensive endIn essence, he’s the younger more athletic replacement to Sefalosha in a year because i think Sef and Perk will start while Roberson and Adams go through the D-League circuit for a year like Lamb, Jones III and Harden
