MVP – Nikola Jokic (I think he gets very close to averaging a triple double)

ROY – Ja Morant (Good stats on bad team)

MIP – Domantas Sabonis/Myles Turner (One of these 2 is due a full break-out)

    DPOY – Joel Embiid

6TH – Will Barton (I think he becomes 3rd option behind Jokic & Murray)

    COY – Brett Brown

    EOY – Elton Brand

    West seeds: #1 Denver, #2 Clippers, #3 Utah, #4 Lakers, #5 Houston, #6 Portland, #7 Golden State, #8 Dallas

    East seeds: #1 Milwaukee, #2 Philadelphia, #3 Indiana, #4 Boston, #5 Orlando, #6 Brooklyn, #7 Toronto, #8 Miami

I agree as above with Clippers winning the Championship over Philadelphia.

MVP: Greek Freak and Anthony Davis split the vote

6th man: who cares, I mean sure why not Will Barton?

ROY: Ja Morant.  Ja will have bad games, so will Zion and RJ BUT Ja will have more good/inspired games with the Grizzlies slightly outperforming expectations.

MIP: Jaren Jackson, Jr.  I am drinking some Mempho Kool Aid.

Finals: Lakers beat Celtics.  I am not betting against LeBron and AD with both guys being slightly underrated headed into the season.  C’s have depth.  I also like Tacko Fall as … wait, ok, I am changing my 6th man winner to TACKO FALL.  Ok, split the vote: Tacko and The Thrill.

    Oh wait, I forgot some.

    DPOY: Rudy Gobert.

All NBA First Team: Greek Freak, Embiid, AD, Steph, Harden.

All NBA Second Team: Jokic, LeBron, Gobert, Lillard, Paul George

All NBA Third Team: Kawhi, Doncic, Zion (the "Center" on the third team), Kemba, Westbrook

Coach of the Year: Nick Nurse.  Raps win 53 games, get to the conference finals losing in 6 games to Boston.  Raps upset BOTH the Bucks and Sixers in the playoffs.  Siakam, Lowry, AND Marc Gasol all make the All Star team.

This year I expect big seasons from Simmons, McCullom, Doncic, Mitchell and Markannen. All could make the ASG.

I think the importance of Al Horford won’t be initially realised, but you’ll see Boston looking at a 6-8 seed and Philly up the top.

I expect Michael Porter Jnr up there with Ja Morant in the ROTY race. I think the usual suspects will be in the MVP race, but I am interested to see how the Rockets go. Either they will click and Harden will be MVP or they won’t and Russ will be pegged as the scapegoat.

The title for mine will come out the West, to win over Philly, but it will depend on health. Philly will be a consistent team but the potential peak of these West teams are too much. You get a switched on and healthy, clicking tandem like Lebron/AD, Kawhi/PG or Russ/Beard and I think they win.

I had Lakers coming out of the West and winning a title but the Kuzma injury might complicate things.

You usually can’t go wrong betting on the best combo, and I think LeBron/AD is the best combo in the league.  The Lakers have decent back-end depth too.

The East might have 4 or 5 teams who could have a shot at getting to the Finals.

Isn’t there a more official annual thread, in which someone actually keeps track, tallies points, and reports results at the end of the year? I remember because I’m the perennial cellar dweller, heh.
