    Head to Head, each category, 4 waiver transactions per week, 20 teams, snake draft.

    I’m pretty sure the draft will be for Sunday September 29th which will be the weekend before the preseason starts October 4th. I want to set it early so we have plenty of time to fill the league and we arent rushing like last year. Draft date as always is negotiable once we have enough people joined up to all agree on the best date and time.

    Last years champion was Team Mooch.

     If I deleted you from the league my bad its hard to remember who remained active. Right now theres 12 available spots however more will likely be made as we figure out who is returning. Also if you join the league, or dont want to participate this year but did last please let us know in this thread and/or in the message board thread on the league home page.

    Thinking about joining but I like Roto type scoring, though I can understand why the scoring system is H2H with 20 teams, that’s a big league! What stat categories does the scoring system focus on? It’s been awhile H2H, so I forgot what “each category” means.

       Yeah its a big league. Its really Mooch’s league. Mooch had been running it for years but got too busy which made last year rushed so this year I wanna start filling the league early. Still ended up winning last year. 20 team league makes the initial draft alot more interesting. 20 teams going 13 rounds in the draft means those later rounds become much more important, you really have to do your homework.

      Some changes from last year.

      One thing we have done two years in a row now despite everyone disliking it is have too many weekly transactions. I think we had it at 6 or 7 last year which is too much. Teams could win just be adding and dropping players which gives people that arent able to sit by the computer and check stats every day a disadvantage. This year we will be bringing that down to 4 most likely. That seems like a good median. We will also keep the Injury Reserve at 2 positions because injuries seem way more frequent in todays NBA.

      We usually stick to an 8 stat breakdown. FG%, FT%, 3PM, REB, AST, STL, BLK, PTS. But towards the end of last year there were discussions of adding a 9th stat whether that be 3P% or TO’s to avoid ties in the playoffs. Pretty sure I suggested 3P% and DMO or Cynthia suggested TO’s I cant remember correctly. We will probably hold a poll once the league is full to see if everyone wants to go ahead with that or not and if we do we can all decide which stat to introduce because tiebreakers in the playoffs are just so random.

      Overall I think about 16 people showed up to the draft last year and about 12 people were active throughout the entire year give or take a few both ways which is really good for an open 20 team league.

    I’m in as always. I can’t tell if I need to rejoin or if I’m already in it though, when I click the link it says to join but it shows me in the list of teams already.
