I’m definitely going with Bam here without requiring too much thought. Harrell has found a niche in the league and does what he does extremely well. He’s a great energy guy and pick and roll player. Decent defender who competes despite his size limitations. Has expanded his offensive game significantly. However, I don’t really see him ever being much more than he is right now.

Bam has more size and is a much better rebounder. His playmaking and ability to handle the ball is a dimension that Harrell doesn’t really have. He is also a better overall defender and rim protector. And he’s 3 years younger and I think has significantly more room to grow. I could see him expanding his range and improving his low post game in the coming years.

If I had to pick someone to win a game right now I’d take Harrell, by a hair. I just think his energy level changes the outcome of games. He’s the most high-energy role player I’ve seen since a young Kenneth Faried.

But Bam is getting better almost every game — by next year he could be up there with Gobert, Jokic and Embiid.

How about Bam or Sabonis? Their stats are pretty comparable:
Sabonis: 18.6pts 12.4reb 5.0ast
Bam: 16.2pts 10.5reb 5.1ast
