i think the line up should be like this

    pg-rubio

    sg-wes jhonson

    sf-derrick williams

    pf-kevin love

    c- nikola pekovich

    2nd string

    pg-jj barea/luke rindour

    sg-martell webster/malcom lee

    sf-chase budinger

    pf-brad miller/darko milicic

    center-darko and brad

what do you think guys should budinger be a reserve and should derrick williams be a starter?

and what kind of impact can they make this up comming season thanks guys

So you got Darko and 43 yr old Brad Miller as your only bigs off the bench? O well Brad brings the count to 8 right?

yup as far as the current line up is concerned thats it for now not unless they a subsequent big man to replace brad miller or darko then thats all you have for minesota but as far as the sf position is concerned derrick williams should own that starting position and chase budinger should just com of the bench they need his energy there(chase)

I’m a little confused. Where does Brandon Roy fit in? He recently signed. What about Alexey Shved who signed today? Not to mention a guy like Wayne Ellington who was on last years roster and 2nd round pick Robbie Hummel who I think has a good chance of making the team. You could also consider Nicholas Batum who they offered a contract to but I’d say the Blazers will match that offer so maybe not so much him

brad miller and webster are going to leave the team (to free some cap space to sign batum, roy, shved), shved is on the team right now, williams, johnson, ellington should be on the move (S&T) to secure batum’s arrival… darko could be amnestied to get financial flexibility.

    With BATUM :

    Pekovic

    Love

    Batum Budinger Hummel

    Roy Shved Barea Lee

    Rubio Ridnour Barea Lee

    Without BATUM :

    Pekovic Milicic

    Love Williams

    Williams Johnson Budinger

    Roy Shved Ellington

    Rubio Ridnour Barea Lee

right now… but it should change in the next days

for the team i still think is to move williams in the starting SF spot with budinger as his sub

while as for brandon roy he would be the starting sg i think with batum as his sub

Brad Miller is retiring.  He won’t be playing next year, unless he wants to go Brett Favre on us (he had a very tearful last game).

I think Derrick Williams should be the backup 4.  Give him at least a couple minutes at his best position.  I would bring him off the bench if I were Minny to give him time when Love is off the court and to give the second unit someone who can create their own shot other than Barea.  Budinger would be a good fit in the starting lineup.

derrick williams would be better of as the starting SF rather than budinger only cuz budinger would be a great 6th man

One of the team’s strengths this season will be the backcourt with Williams, Jeff Teague and former All-Star Devin Harris expected to get the lion’s share of minutes at guard. From afar, Williams has admired both of his new backcourt mates.
