76ers got a good one this year. Never really thought much of Thybulle before, I saw him play but not enough to really understand how good this guy is defensively.
Everytime I watch Philly this guy whoever he guards is uncomfortable. Went and watched his highlights on YouTube and was stunned. His defense is different and unique. Its as if the entire league is using Kung-Fu and he comes in using Muay Thai. Im sure at this point the good coaches have scouting reports up about this guys defense to warn the players because its anything but traditional. He is a defensive playmaker and gets you extra possessions. If you do beat him off the dribble its probably because he let you so he can steer you into help defense or poke the ball away from behind. Hes a special defensive player.
When his offensive game is good enough where he can have a consistent role on that end he will get minutes, alot of minutes and Im calling it now he’s got the defensive instincts to become a DPOY candidate and perrenial All Defensive Team player.
