Striver347ParticipantI was kind of expecting to see a thread surrounding their matchup and I didn’t find it, so I suppose this is it.
Wow. So many incredible takeaways from this game. From DJ Augustin, to Michael Carter-Williams, and so many other players on the Magic, they played incredibly well (sans Vucevic). So many things to be pleased about with their play and more importantly, seeing how their length disrupted the Raptors quite a bit. While I thought the Magic had a slim chance to beat the Raptors and still do, I’m pleased to see what can come of this group if, say, Fultz turns out to be a decent player and Bamba gives them good minutes next season.
Toronto missed many open 3s and had other small issues. Ultimately, the blame falls on Lowry since there will always be someone to point a finger at. He truly is Raymond Felton with Drake’s phone number.

Striver347ParticipantI cannot believe he went scoreless. It’s almost as if he shifts into a new being in the playoffs.

mowestenParticipantI hate to kick a guy when he’s down, but at this point there is ample evidence that Kyle Lowery is as overrated as any player in the NBA over the past 20-30 years.
Every year he chokes out in the playoffs with a. new low in being outplayed, and while I can understand getting rolled up by LeBron, the performance today against a career back-up is an epic fail.
I don’t care how many regular season games you win or what you do when nobody is looking, when you get outscored 25-0 in the playoffs to DJ Augustine, you need to return your game check to your team

OhCanada-ParticipantTeams built around Lowry. Toronto will lose if he doesnt win us games its not just about scoring. Unless your Canadian and watching all the Raptors games you probably wouldnt know but during the regular season every close game Lowry makes 3-4 winning plays at both ends of the court or we dont win. They wont win without getting this from him. Augustin lit his ass up!

OhCanada-ParticipantMeanwhile in the West the Warriors steamroll the Clippers.

ZouldiersParticipantYou cannot take out Lebronto out of Lowry. The ghost of Lebron still haunts him and he’s just watching on his TV.

Memphis MadnessParticipantShould Orlando pay LeBron to show up at the games?

The GoatParticipantThese things happen, Raps should still win, I’ll say in 6 though and I was expecting 4 or 5 games.

GronounoursParticipantNice narrative, but I’m not sure it’s accurate. Lowry had a +- of +11 after all.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI picked Raptors in 5
No way, it goes past 6
Props to DJ Augustine though. He put on a clinic using ball screens and reading/reacting vs the defense. The hesi pull up to freeze Marc Gasol after the switch and pull up for the game winner was a thing of beauty.

Meditated StatesParticipantLowry is out of shape big time. He is near the end. He is undersized and worn down already. He can be taken advantage of. Orlando will stretch this series.

holefillers1ParticipantJonathan Isaac played a ton of minutes and contributed beyond the box score. He brings a lot to this team and still has a huge skill set awaiting to be developed.
