Yes the Lakers are 21-3 and teams that good shouldn’t look to trade just to trade.
Yes, Pope is younger. But Ariza is still a high end 3-D and pope as hard as he tries is above average on D.
Who says no? Yes, you have to sacrifice age for Defense and championship experience; everyone has to give up something to get something, unless it Danny Ainge trading with say, the knicks..
KCP says no for starters, he has a no trade clause. No way he wants to play for Walton again or leave a title contending team.
He’s starting to make his shots and assisting people, he’s quick and he runs the floor.
He’s a 26yo guard, the lakers have enough 34yo players, enough forwards, not enough guards who can create their own shot.
Ariza is stealing money from losing teams, he’s washed, he should have a 2nd stint with the knicks more than the lakers…
I find It amazing how people assume you can actually trade garbage and get something good back; only legit reply I saw is the non trade clause- fair enough.
Most team arent the knicks or run by David Khan. Yes, Ariza is older, if he were the same age this trade wouldnt even be considered lol. He was a much better player at the same age.
