I’m astounded, amazed and very happy the Jazz are making these free agency moves.

As of today the Jazz have traded Crowder, Korver, 23rd pick, Grayson Allen, 2020 pick to Grizzlies for Mike Conley. Significant upgrade to Ricky Rubio who they lost in free agency to the Suns. Signed Bojan Bogdanovic away from the Pacers who are the Jazz of the East, signed a good defensive rebounder and post player to play backup center in Ed Davis, and now just recently signed Jeff Green (stretch 4, which they’ve needed for like 2 or 3 years it seems) Mudiay as a backup PG behind Conley in case Exum struggles coming back from injury or dare I say gets hurt again. (Wouldn’t surprise me knowing that Exum can’t seem to stay away from injury bug his entire 5 year career)

At the beginning I wasn’t too big of a fan of the Bogdanovic signing because at the time they didn’t have a stretch 4 which they needed before they traded for Conley and especially after they traded away Crowder to get him. I was worried because I didn’t think Bogdanovic could play the 4 after never really playing that spot in Indy or anywhere else in his career so far. Knowing that he would have to rebound and block a lot more shots than he has ever needed to in his entire career worried me. Now after they signed Jeff Green I suddenly feel a lot more confident and happy about the Bogdanovic signing because he won’t have to play the 4 anymore and can go back to playing the 3 which he is much more comfortable at. He will be an upgrade over Ingles who will now probably be their 6th man. 

Cant wait to see the Jazz dominate next year and actually contend for the for a possible title or at least gachieve  WCF champion!!!!

Their free agency is third after Brooklyn and Portland! Love the moves for Conley, Mudiay, Bogdanovic, and even Green.

 Brookland is kind of an obvious one but I think Utah and Indian are tied for second best off-season so far!

 Jazz are team most should root for they have not been relevant since the days of Stockton and Malone.

 Tony Bradley still the youngest out there for the Jazz in his 3rd summer league, 26 & 16 today. There are minutes there behind Gobert. Adding Mudiay and Green to their bench gives them a solid roster. Mitchell needs to have an all star year, more if the same from Gobert, Conley, Bogdanovic and Ingles and they are really close. If Exum provides any kind of offense to add to his D, and he’s able to stay fit, then they are cookin’.

I am so happy Bogdanovic ended up on the Jazz, I really love what they have done with their team. They are 100% all in & I will be watching them closely this year & rooting for them as well.

If Vic wasn’t injured I’d say we would have tried to pull the moves Utah did, but since we got some questions we have gone younger.

What are the odds Utah kinda goes small and plays Ingles, Bojan and Rudy up front with Conley and Mitchell in the backcourt? 

In the small ball era … having two shooters on the court with Conley and Mitchell could be tough.

Regardless, Utah is a big winner this offseason and they will be significantly better in the starting lineup and off the bench.

I also think they had a very nice offseason so far. 

They just added Jeff Green on a minimum deal which is a very nice veteran pickup who can give any team 20 minutes. 

hoped the Thunder would have made a run after him since I don’t think Morris will resign after a disappointing stint there and neither of Noel and Muscala are power forwards even if Mike can shoot it a bit.
