    The pick Memphis is getting is a Top 4 protected 2024 1st round pick from the Warriors.  If it doesn’t convey it’s Top 1 protected in 2025 and unprotected in 2026.

     Shitty thing to do to Iggy. I hope his contract is such that Memphis can wave him or buy him out, and he can sign with a contending team.

        I forget the rules, but if Memphis were to waive him, could he actually sign back with GSW?

            Is this true? I remember back in 2010 (?) There was something  similar with Ilgauskas who wanted to join LeBron and he had to wait for 30 or 60 days or something like that. That was the old CBA and maybe they changed it. 

            Iggy to the Sixers would make a lot of sense for both sides I guess we‘ll see even if I‘m wondering why the Grizz would do this. I always wonder why teams buy out some players since it doesn’t really help them and it’s not like the Grizz have a lot of quality on the wings either.

           Truth… He was talking shit about team doctors. But it’s gonna be a big loss. Iggy is a leader, glue guy, clutch shot maker, clutch defender. Gonna be hard to replace him.

     Memphis may look to buy him out but could use him as a locker room leader to fill the void lrft by Mike Conley.
