How would college basketball change if everyone had to go to college for 4 years, and no Preps to Pros? I think the college game would be a lot more competitive, and there would be more dynasties. (Can you imagine John Wall, Anthony Davis, MKG, and Demarcus Cousins?) What do you guys think?

Lance Stephenson on this year’s Cincy team
    Syracuse with Waiters and Melo
    Ohio State with Sullinger
    Michigan wih Darius Morris!!
Kansas with Thomas Robinson and Josh Selby…and Xavier Henry!
Baylor with Perry Jones and Quincy Miller
Texas with Avery Badley, Tristan Thompson, Joran Hamilton, and Cory Joseph
UNC with Barnes, Marshall, Henson, and Ed Davis
    Duke with Rivers and Irving!!
Derrick Favors woud still be in school (GT would still suck, though)
    Florida with Beal
    Arizona with Derrick Williams
    SDST with Kawhi Leonard
Kentucky-get ready, they would have Davis, MKG, Jones,Teague, Kanter, Knight, Cousins, Wall, Lamb, Bledsoe, and Orton…or would they?? Half of these guys would have gone elsewhere without one-and-done…

You guys are being overly optimistic, top high school players go to Kentucky for one reason only and that’s to be a one and done; if there was a 4 year rule then they all wouldn’t be lining up to Kentucky as what does cal offer that guys like coach K, Boeheim, Matta, Williams, Pitino don’t?

Like I said in my post, half those guys (or more) wouldn’t go to UK if the one-and-done system wasn’t in place. Duke would probablybe even mre loaded, as would other schools with popular coaches like Louisville, KU, and UNC.

Ah I didn’t see it the first time; if there was some kind of 3-4 year rule it would balance college basketball more and would make it 10x more exciting; I like basketball when there is one or two stars on a team instead of 4 or 5

The problem with that is that you and I, fans who prefer collee basketball over pro basketball (or at least that’s the vibe I’m getting from you), are the minority. Most fans want these guys in the pros as quick as possible and most of these players do, too. And with millions of dollars awaiting many of them, who an blame these kids?

I feel your points, I’m a bigger fan of college due to the fact that the intensity of games and the meaning of them are huge. In the NBA if one team is down by 20 with 6 minutes left the teams empty their bench, not in college; also is there a better event in sports then march madness??? I understand players need the money but it is ruining the integrity of some schools like Kentucky.

Nah, it was I Get Buckets but seeing as how I’m in a slump on my high school team I had to change it, just didn’t feel right
