IM A BIG TIME LAKER FAN AND AS I WATCH I NOTICE THAT we need toughness off the bench..or toughness period…lets be honest paul gasol is soft..very very good but soft..lamar odom is kinda soft too ..but hes more lazy then soft i think having a tough guy like luke would really help…hes more then likely never onna be a star but he works hard ont he boards and gives it his all..the same with hansboro and to be honest i really never liked either but they fit a area that the lakers are lacking..powell is also pretty good but hes a jump shooting power foward….what do yall think?..i can understand if ya’ll think im nuts but sit and really think about it

I feel what you’re saying, but I would rather have Brockman because he is a better rebounder and brings that same toughness and energy.

Adrien, Taj Gibson, or Blair (if he slips) if they need toughness….

When I watch the Lakers games, I always think how bad the shooters are on that team. They get SO MANY OPEN looks and miss so many of them. It’s amazing how bad those so called “spot up” shooters actually shoot sometimes. They could use some toughness though, unless Bynum could stay healthy.

He would be a better fit and would fill the “bull in a china shop” role that Turiaf used to play..Hansbrough is a better athlete and overall player than Brockman honestly and would fit in with the Lakers better

He will need to find a role somewhere, so why not?

Hanborough isn’t a near a better athlete than Brockman.

…they should just sign Luke Walton to a new 10-year contract? Luke Harangody’s not puttin a D-League team over the top next season.

since when has brockman ever been athletic.. psycho t can hit open shots, hustles harder, and produces more. i dont see brockman ever getting that much playign time in his career and pyscho t is going to be a very good role player which good teams need

Since he held his own in the McDonalds dunk contest lol, he runs the court much better as well. The only thing Hansborough has that is better than Brockman is a jumper. He just gets over-glorified because he is at Carolina.

Being an avid basketball fan, other than Blair, nobody was tougher in major D1 basketball last year. watch UW their first round game against mississippi state. at on point he gets undercut, falls directly on his hip from the peak of his jump, is down for MAYBE 2 seconds, pops up and runs down the court and scores. o yeah, i think he got the board at the same time too. psycho T gets hit in the nose and crys for 5 minutes. toughness wise Brockman>rest of major college basketball-blair.

that has nothing to do with whos a tougher basketball player or who any team would take…i dont recall seeing brockman on any first round mock draft…plus you dont have to be that tough in the pac-10 and if you are just a tad bit tough i makes you seem even tougher then u really are…although i must agree he is tough but even though i dont like hasnboro he is a very tough hardworking player

But you don’t get to see Brockman play because he plays for Washington, who gets no exposure. If he was at Carolina and Hansborough was at UW it would be the exact opposite of what it is now. If you are caucasian, and play for a prime-time school, you are going to get a lot of exposure and a lot of uneeded hype.

i think jeff adrien addresses the lakers toughness issues better than hansbrough. brockman and harangody r late second rounders at best. and in my opinion brockman being rated higher than harangody
