Just wondering who some of you hope to hear on your favorite teams pick on draft night. Or even just a hope that a certain player matches with a team or something based on a great fit.

Lakers I hope draft Jared Butler, although Duarte wouldn’t be a bad alternative if Butler were picked. I think Schroder is on his way out… If I could somehow trade the pick forward packaged with Kuzma somewhere in the lottery or trade back even for a couple picks I would consider that too to get a targeted prospect either direction.

As just a basketball fan, I think it would be nice if Philadelphia drafted Kispert. Not sure he would fall that far or if he would truly be worth trading up for, but it would be a good match if the 76ers picked him up.

where do you hope some prospects go on your favorite teams?

I think Cam’s a lottery pick but if he is available for the Lakers thats a perfect fit. Nobody’s gonna stop him from scoring.

As for the Raptors it really depends where they pick. At the end of the day I trust their picks better then I trust me. If they move up I have Cade 1st, Mobley 2nd and between Green and Suggs I have Green. At 7 or lower I want them to pick Barnes but I don’t think he’ll be available. They won’t pick Jalen Johnson because of his signs of immaturity and he would be my next pick. Aside from that theres really 10 players they could pick that I think they could make work.

With the two second round picks I want them to pick a draft and stash pick like Badji, Hukporti or Bleijenbergh and a good rebounder that can fit into the rotation like Santi Aldama, Luka Garza, Jay Huff, Moses Wright, or even one of the Champagnie’s or Terry Taylor to replace Stanley Johnsons role and provide rebounding. Theres plenty they can do with the 2nds.

I think he will be picked earlier too, but if the Lakers get Cam Thomas I’d be jumping for joy for sure.

As much as I like cam Thomas as a prospect, I question his fit with the current lakers squad.

Josh Giddey (to the Spurs). Putting my faith in the Spurs-Australia connection and the Australia-great-passers-with-size connection.

    76ers- Juzang or Isaiah Jackson

I think Jackson will go ahead of the sixers pick, but since he is slotted so low on this site currently I would love for him to fall to Philly. His elite shot blocking would slot nicely as a backup big initially. With Dwight only on a 1 year deal, and the team lacking a backup 4 when Tobias sits I think Jackson could fill that role very well in time. The G League MVP is also lurking in B Ball Paul, so they might look backcourt as well which leads me to my next guy…

Juzang could also go earlier, but if he falls due to not possessing much athleticism I think he could be a great fit to replace Danny Green in time. His shot making ability is something that the sixers need to keep bringing in as long as Ben is the PG. Juzang performed incredibly well on the biggest stage in college, so I would think getting drafted by a perennial contender wouldn’t be as daunting for him as it may be for other guys. Obviously defense could be an issue in the NBA.

If those two are gone, I wouldn’t be opposed to Philly taking a flyer on guys like Greg Brown or BJ Boston hoping they can rediscover their prep school promise.

Jazz: I hope they draft Trey Murphy, Herb Jones. I also do like Josh Primo or JT Thor to the Jazz. But priority would be Murphy or Jones

Really? Is that what you guys are looking for a future wing/forward because this draft has plenty of options there. I thought they would be trying to get a defensive minded combo guard to play that Marcus Smart role like Miles Mcbride if he stays in.

I think the needs for the Jazz are a stretch big, 3/D combo forward, PG that is defensive minded and can push the pace.

Heat- Well, we don’t have a draft pick this year but if we do, hopefully a pipedream like Ayo Dosunmu

Guess I’d change it to Nah’Shon Hyland or Miles McBride now that I learned Butler’s health.
