Meditated StatesParticipantGriffin scores with either hand around the rim with ease. He makes acrobatic lay ins with ease. He has been a more explosive scorer and rebounder than kenyon ever was in college. Kenyon has always been a strong dunker even before the knee injury, but Griffin is a high flyer like Lebron. Not saying he will be anywhere near Lebron because he wont, but he will be much better than kenyon. More than a dunker he passes out the double team well and takes dudes off the dribble too. I think he is going to be the next great power forward if he develops the jump shot which he will. What do yall think?

Al-Farouq AminuParticipantHe does remind me of Kenyon Martin, not to name that both of them are 1 picks from bad draft classes

Meditated StatesParticipantKenyon was known as a defensive player not great on offense. Griffin is the opposite. completely different games. Bad comparison anyway you cut it.

nthegoodlifeParticipantThat is almost as bad as Artest / Hansbrough. Seriously though, nothing in common. Blake has CRAZY hops and a much higher ceiling than what he is given credit for (from a lot of people).

ramonParticipantBlake is better than Kenyon was out of Cinncinati. I think he’s the next great thing after Lebron and Durant. Not the best player ever but a bigger Charles Barkley. I think he’s different than Malone.

nthegoodlifeParticipantWhy do so many people say Karl Malone with less post ability? That is absurd, Blake has all the time in the world to develop whatever HE WANTS. I wonder what really goes through some peoples heads. I also don’t recall Karl Malone hitting his head on the bottom up the backboard.

bmorebaskekballParticipantKarl Malone is one of the 50 greatest. If Blake Griffin has a Karl Malone like career he should be happy and so should the team that drafts him

heelsfan1307ParticipantI think this argument is right on. Although i think Martin had more range. You have to realize they are comparing him to a young healthy martin. They were both FREAK athletes, but Kenyon Martin had more of a game away from the basket.

nthegoodlifeParticipantI’m sure he would be happy, but how does that justify a Malone comparison. Thats all I was saying.
