Living in Minnesota, having to deal with all the worst teams (besides the Lynx finally!), I switched my loyalties to the Lions last year. They’re looking good this year. My buddy even told me they got a 10-1 shot to WIN the Super Bowl. I may be getting ahead of myself. But how legit do you guys think the Lions are this year? Will Calvin Johnson/Stafford break some records this year?

Johnson will break the TD receptions record, Stafford is great, but not legendary, but still a great franchise QB. Suh is a legendary talent, Fairly could be nice for them, but I see them like the OKC Thunder this year, they might win 10 or 11 games this season, make it to the divisional round, but not this year, but a very bright future

NOW, WHAT ABOUT MY NINERS! Now I’m not going to brag, as I know that we have many flaws, and even I don’t think we’re going to win more than 7-8 games, but boy did the Eagles shoot themselves in the foot.

Megatron is the perfect name for Calvin Johnson because he is simply not human

But they still have alot of weakenesses in my opinion  and once it comes playoff time I think those weakenesses will ruin there chances for a superbowl but they have plenty of time to improve since there so young

And in a year there gonna have the best reciever and the best defensive player in the league

Oh yeah they for sure aren’t ready to win the Super Bowl yet. They don’t have any playoff experience on that team and their mostly young. But the thing that excites me about that team is that core group of players are all looking to be superstars or studs nonetheless. Matt Stafford has been looking elite, Johnson has looked UNREAL, Best is doing good and could play a role like Reggie Bush but better, and their defense is top notch already. If they add a shutdown corner to that mix I think they are ready to be huge. I can’t wait till Nick Fairley comes in and we see the havoc they create on the O-line.
