OhCanada-ParticipantMan this guy is the basketball savior. Every year he just impresses me more and more not only with his skills and talent, but his approach to the game. Heres some recent comments about physicality in the league and I’ve been saying this for years but its nice to see theres still high level ballers that use the mental approach the sport is supposed to have.
“It’s kind of hard because in the NBA, the way it’s built, they want you to flop,” Antetokounmpo said of playing physically. “It wants you to be weak, kind of, because sometimes I think when you’re strong and you’re going through contact, they don’t call the foul. But when you’re flopping and kind of going into the contact and throwing the ball out, they’re just going to call foul, but that’s not who I am, that’s not what I’m gonna do.
“I’m just gonna try to power through contact. It’s going to be … where if a guy grabs me or pushes me, I’ve got to show it more, but I think I’ve done a better job of showing it more so the refs can see that the guys are holding me, pushing me and just being physical.”
I cant lie I love that shit. I never played high level ball or anything past highschool but when I played ball I always wanted to show my opponent they couldnt bother me one bit and I was tougher than them. I would be a problem. That physical edge quickly becomes a mental edge and can throw someones game right off. Really hope we get more players like this injected into the league, seems like ion is cut from the same clothe and I think James Wiseman has a bit of nasty in him too.Good to see.

canadabasketballisrisingParticipantNote to canada basketball, everyone work on flopping and creating charges off Giannis when he drives in the lane.

canadabasketballisrisingParticipantRumour he could sign with Dallas. They have the money, just have to trade Powell or Kleber for another 3-D. Right now any rumour has no substance.
KP, Giannis, Finnley, Curry, Doncic as a starting 5 for the next 10 years plus.. Damn.0 -

The GoatParticipantAlso rumoured to be going to LAL, AD and Lebron to renegotiate lower deals, Steph and the Warriors and to MIA after they trade for Jrue Holiday. Everyone wants him – of course. I think highly of him and from all reports, he is a high character guy, his integrity wouldn’t let him leave Milwaukee unless they win a title first, or he feels there is some kind of betrayal or injustice.
If he does go, I’d really like to know how anyone would stop him playing with Luka or with Steph & Klay.0 -

sniperParticipantHe’s the runaway MVP and I would say a slight favorite for DPOY as well. Only Jordan and Olajuwon have won both in the same season.
