OhCanada-ParticipantEach quarter will be its own competition. The winning team after each quarter between team Lebron and team Giannis gets to donate $100, 000 to that teams selected Chicago based charity. At the end of the 3rd quarter add “24” points to whichever team has the highest score (so for example if the score is 100-80 you add 24 to 100 = 124). Whichever team reaches the “124” first wins. I did not make this up.
Thoughts?

220ParticipantThe All-Star game tends to be pointless and the players play with little effort. The NBA is desperate to find a way to make it more competitive so fans will be more interested. I imagine we’ll continue to see them try new ways to make people interested in the All-Star game.

BothTeamsPlayedHard-ParticipantAll-Star rosters are meant to reward the best players, but the games are meant to be fun. The problem with the NBA one is that the play is so lax until the final five minutes that is is hard to get into, and that is only if the score is close enough for guys to turn in on. This format probably won’t change much, but it might so why not try.
