Watching the TBT tournament again this summer. I love seeing the old faces play again. But what I like even more is the ELAM Ending. At the first stoppage under 4 minutes in the 4th, they stop the clock, add 8 points to the leading teams score and first team to that score wins.
It is great for the game of basketball! People are actually playing regular/real basketball all the way up until the game winning shot. The person who created the system said he found in his studies only 1.5% of teams come back to tie or win using the normal "foul to extended the game" strategy.
Ending every game on a made basket is awesome. One TBT team won a game on a tip dunk. A walk off tip dunk!
I’d love to see the NCAA try this in their NIT tournament. Or maybe some AAU tournaments. See how it works at all levels.
Thats awesome, I gotta check that out.
