TRC1991Participantmalone, career averages of 25 and 10 in the most physical era of hoops (1980’s and 1990’s)…the rings are the only thing hes missing and he n stockton single handedly carried that team to the playoffs every year with very little help from the rest of their starters..duncan has had parker, robinson, and ginobili and many other solid teammates

DanEboyParticipantDuncan is 6’11, can play center and is an 8-time all defensive 1st team player.
Give me the defensive big who has led his team to multiple titles..any day of the week.

RafterParticipantDuncan over Malone, the rings set him apart. However, i’d say Malone was the better individual player.

gainsey15ParticipantDuncan and I don’t think this is close. Better leader, 4 rings, no other true superstar playing with him(David was on his way out the league when Tim got there Parker and Manu were never top 15 players in the league) better defender, came up big in the big moments (go watch the NBA finals vs. the Nets). True superstar in every sense of the word.
