Hype MachineryParticipantLike a phoenix rising from the ashes, the undisputed all time draftnet goat is back. Those new to the site have probably heard the myths passed on from the sites veterans ….
So whether you want to reminisce about my legendary threads. Polarizing prophecies or simply get the definitive word on contemporary basketball… The floor is open for a 1 time only… Rip n Run, Hype Machine A. M. A.
Shoot!

armchairgmParticipantI have been on this site since 2008 and don’t remember you at all so not that legendary or GOAT status.

Hype MachineryParticipantThe man that cemented this forum into online basketball folklore doesn’t need an introduction. Started here as a hero, but was proven right so many times in the face of cult-like group-think that I soon became the villain.
Every now and then I’d get messages…”Hype, they’re talking about you on draftnet” or read a thread asking “What happened to the Hype Machine?”
But don’t get it twisted.
My impact – unforgettable….. My deep-dives into the NBA – unmistakable…..My legacy on draftnet…..indisputable
Nonetheless, I’ve been taking tabs on the current state of hoops and I’m ready to sound off about what could quite possibly be the generation which rocks the very foundations that the NBA is built on.
So buckle up because I’m putting this forum on notice…… It’s time for another Hype Machine Pipebomb!

ChoppyParticipantYeah we talked about you. Every time a new poster said something questionable, we used to ask, “Hype, it that you?”
Welcome back mate, you’ll certainly make life around here more interesting lol2+-

Hype MachineryParticipantThere’s only one way to truly know if these Hype imitators are the real deal.
Did they cause the short circuiting of the staging.nbadraft.net npc’s like only I could? Did their firmware malfunction when they suggested that perhaps they might want to think independently instead of relying on these so-called “experts” whose mock drafts look identical and are consistently making the same drafting mistakes year after year after year.
If the forum users didn’t glitch out, then it wasn’t an original Rip n Run Hype post.

The GoatParticipantI’m the Goat Hype, never forget.
I have to say that the site is acting a bit weird. You who have been on here for a long time will know me as both faithnomuz and the goat. Since this site change, when I log in my profiles have actually been split into one from 2008 and another from 2014 under the original email started with and the one I
changed it to some time ago. I would’ve thought all changes were cosmetic but I could not log in using my username and had to do password retrievals.. anyway… Still getting used to this. Dinosaurs don’t like change..3+ -

r377ParticipantHYPE MACHINE !!!
I missed you and wondered where you went.
Still remember your -30 negs for saying Okafor wouldn’t be that good
Hope you been watching the NBL action on TV channel 31 SBS ?2+-

Hype MachineryParticipantWussup . I spend morst of my time in Asia so I’ve been following NBL but unable to get many full live games. The league is definitely picking up steam and would get another boost if they could snag James Wiseman. Dude should just get on the next plane to Australia and put the whole eligibility BS behind him. He has everyone’s support regardless of the NCAA’s decision.
This site was so busted it didn’t even allow new members to register for up for like 3 years. Hence why there’s no new faces….or returning old faces.

ChoppyParticipantI remember the Hype Machine. Didn’t you say Venky Jois was going to be a lottery pick?
Anyway, I hope your latest incarnation thinks a little more before posting.Goat/Faithnomuz, I never realised you two were one and the same! This is my first post on the ‘new’ website after having all sorts of trouble retrieving my password. I feel your pain…

Hype MachineryParticipantEven Skip Bayless is wrong sometimes, so don’t sweat the Jenky Vois pick. That was the exception that proves the rule.
It wasn’t half as bad as this entire forum dying on Skal Labissiere’s hill….. or the sites OFFICIAL comparison of DeShawn Stevenson.

Soundcloud throwback! Hype, remember when you said Thon Maker was going to be a lottery pick? Well, you nailed it. The problem was, you also said Dejan Vasiljevic, William McDowell-White, Harry Froling were going to be as well. Not to mention throwing Jack White (who is a very solid college role player, but had an 0-40 or so dry spell from 3 at one point last season) in the one-and-done conversation. Nonetheless, the GOAT will always be McDunkin. Miss the old Late Night Crew.
