This has been a great series. Best series so far this postseason. Triple OT right now good game. Refs have been terrible for both sides in this game.

I think youth league refs could do better. At one point the ref threw a jump ball about 3 inches towards Lillard. This was a decisive moment as there was about a minute left in OT. I think harkless guarding Murray is a good move. Kanter is doing a great job on Jokic this series. Hood scored about 7 points in 4th OT… dominating Murray. And that sealed the deal.

I was killed for saying I didn’t think there was much of a drop off between Kanter and Nurkic when Nurkic went down. It appears that I was right again fellas. Ya’ll need some respect.

There actually is a bigger drop off than you realize between Nurkic and Kanter. Nurkic is a rim protector and would have done very well defending Jokic, as well as getting lobs. Kanter has the potential to be a good defender but lots of times he doesn’t have the energy or the passion. You can’t really tell the difference in this series because it’s the playoffs so both teams want to perform their best even better than they did in the regular season. Also this might be the perfect team for Kanter and the way he plays. The blazers were a very good team before Nurkic went down, but we don’t know how he would have performed under these types of circumstances. (Playoffs Game 3 was the best we’ve seen in a long time, these types of games bring out the best in everyone) So to say there is not much of a drop off between Nurkic and Kanter is way off base. I believe that Nurkic would not have allowed Jokic to have that kind of game 3. The playoffs are not the same as the regular season, it’s a whole new year. Every team starts out fresh, and regular season series go out the window so do regular season performances. So we can’t make that Kanter is on the same level as Nurkic because we haven’t seen Nurkic in these type of circumstances, this also may be the perfectly balanced team for Kanter’s playing style. I do think this series has brought out the best in him but defense is what Nurkic brought and that is one thing that Kanter is really lacking. So no they are not on the same level.

By the way that was the best game ever played, I’m inclined to give the win to both teams. Can’t wait for game 4 on Monday. Love watching this series.

Basketball is about wins and loses…. I truly believe this series would not be much different with Nurkic starting at center.

Utah stuck in the same rut since my pops homie Stockton retired.

Amazing game, ironic that both teams only used 9 man rosters throughout the whole game. I almost wonder if injecting a fresh guy well into OT could just give a team that bit of extra quickness as fatigue is bound to set in on players.

An NBA player like a lot of elite athletes would do training and fitness levels to enable them to play a ballpark amount of minutes per game and when this can almost double they could almost go off a cliff physically.

It would be like asking say Usain Bolt to run 400 metres, he can probably do it but might blow up towards the end.

Jokic with 65 minutes was about one of the 3 highest ever played in an NBA game.

Lots of sore bodies today after that game.  Def risk due to injuries. Jokic is great, but Plumlee isn’t a bad backup.  65 mins is alot of minutes, I hope no player get injured in the next game….

Also this series is big in both ways for both teams. Denver were last in the Conference Finals a decade ago and it is the first time they have won a play off series since then and their first play off appearance since 2013.

Portland have been a play off regular ironically every season since 2013 and have made this stage a couple of times but have not made a Conference Final since 2000.

So it is a big opportunity for either team and whilst this series will likely be a hard slog, we don’t know how much the Houston vs GSW series could take out of each other and a team has to be in it to win it.
