    With Caron Butler’s injury, the Mavs need a consistent swingman to contend in the West, and Charlotte happens to be have two of them.  Caron Butler is an intriguing trade chip despite his health, due to his expiring contract.  Should Dallas use that to bring in either Gerald Wallace or Stephen Jackson before Thursday’s deadline?

    Come on man what do "you" think? Charlottes just gonna say, sure give me your injured role player at the wing position for our Allstar calibur player and most important player on our team and most important player in team history? No they wont.

    They have played better under Silas before the break. I agree, the mavericks need a wing. I think if they Bobcats said that they knew they wouldn’t be able to make the playoffs, I could see the Butler for Jackson trade going down and benefit both teams. Captain Jax is still solid and would be great for the Mavs right away and the Bobcats would get A LOT of cap space and rebuild for the future.

    If the Bobcats wanted to trade away G-Wallace, then they would want more than just an expiring contract of Caron. I think if they added Roddy Buckets or JJ Barea and maybe Dominique Jones or a draft pick, I’d consider it if I was the Bobcats.
