richierichParticipantWould they? Could they? The Knicks are desperate for a pg and it’s been a challenge getting their chemisty going. Granted they have a ton of new players and it’s only been a very short window. The Nets would get a helluva player under contract for the next almost 4 seasons with marque name appeal of Stoudamire which would make Prokorov happy. The Knicks get an awesome pg that would mesh much better with NY but they would need to make sure they got a contract extension first. Josh Harrelson is still an untested rookie but it seems as though all they need is a steady PF who can get some rebounds, play some D and put up 12-15 points a game.

db24kb24ParticipantDoubt NY would do that, they rather wait on Shumpert. And If you have Brook Lopez (healthy) and Stat in the same frontcourt who is going to hit the glass?

Malik-UniversalParticipantim not sure having dwill and melo on the same team would help the knicks out that much
both guys need the ball
esp. williams being the great phacilitator that he is…
i doubt the knicks would do that trade
y take a chance?

M-DYMESParticipantFacilitator.
Shumpert should be fine in the future. Doesn’t really make sense for either team to make this trade. Amare + Lopez…who is gonna hit the boards? What happens to Humpedkardashian?

Holing JohnParticipantRajon Rondo is by no means a polished diamond. Within the past calendar year, he has thrown a ball, and his body, at referees. He is still prone to gambling on defense and quiet tantrums until we see that he is not. A pre-season’s worth of glowing Rondo scripture by no means makes the man infallible.

Holing JohnParticipantIn the best of times, Al Horford, at 6-foot-10, 250 pounds, is an under-sized center and more suited to playing power forward.
