Haven’t seen much discussion or reporting on the Combine.  A few things in the results that stood out:

Moses Brown is huge.  Not Tacko Fall size, but significantly bigger than Bol Bol.  Different skil sets, but eye opening.

Jalen McDaniels and Naz Reid have those freak wingspans that seem to hold up on defense.

The sheer number of guys jumping over 38" max is pretty impressive.  This one is always worth a bit of a deeper dive, because of the vertical standing reach thing, but a ot of these prospects can really jump.

Usually there is one big guy who astounds everyone in the lane agility and quickness drills.  I am not really seeing one this year.

The NBA.com site has a lot of shooting drill stats, but I honestly don’t know what to make of them.

What did you take away from the combine, from what you have seen and heard.

was generating some buzz. He was hitting threes at a high / consistent clip and his measurements were great (slightly bigger build and wingspan than Jaylen Brown).

Maybe he sneaks into the 8-12 range after an underwhelming freshman season.

Little..that wingspan is massive. hopefully it’s not a mental thing at UNC holding him back.

Little did have an incredibly long wingspan – but being 6’4 without shoes is much smaller than I expected. I’d probably take him off of losers.

7’7″ in shoes. 8’2.25″ wingspan. 10′ 2.5″ standing reach. Someone is going to give Tacko a long look. After seeing Zion bounce off him when trying to take him on, I think the extent to which he is a mountain of a man is beyond question. Someone has to put Boban in his place, and look down upon him.

Someone definitely needs to explain why Jaxson Hayes is widely regarded as a top ten pick and Nicolas Claxton is a viewed by most as either a second rounder or borderline first rounder. They have almost identical measureables, and Claxton is a vastly more skilled and well-rounded player.

Much like Bob Bol getting hurt didn’t help ease concerns about his durability, Naz Reid measuring at 14 percent body fat is probably not ideal for a guy whose dedication and reliability is questioned. It is higher than Omari Spellman last year, and his weight (well, bad weight) was an issue for him last year.

After having similar stats and playing style as Jae Crowder, Admiral Schofield has almost identical anthros as Crowder. He might not fit a prototype, but he plays a way where teams will want a reason to bring him in. It helps to have someone similar who has come before who made it.

I have liked Eric Paschall as a player, and have tended to buy into guys coming through Jay Wright’s system, but somewhat figured he would be a guy destined for high end European teams. He came off as a little too round and in between positions. His measurements and testing are phenomenal. He came in a 6’7″ with shoes, and has nearly a 7-foot wingspan. He weighs 254 lbs, but is at 6.3 percent body fat. His running and jumping numbers are better than expected, and his ability is not bad for his size.

I see what Grant Williams and Jordan Poole are doing with the shoes. It is that time of year.

bol bol weighing only 220 lbs….is a concern..but i still believe he’s going to be 1 of the top 5 players from this draft …lakers shouldnt let him get pass them….

there were some talk of brandon clarke sneaking into the lottery…his measurements might turn off some teams, picking that high….but i love his passion and intensity is off the charts…..u cant measure heart…

I expect Bol and Little in the lottery and Guy in the 20s, not getting past Philly

Brandon Clarke’s leaping ability makes up for his wingspan. He has to develop a jumper though.

He played bigger than his frame at Gonzaga but I was not expecting him to weigh in so light at 207lbs.  A lot of his value was expected to be in playing a small ball-5 role and I’m not sure how viable that would be at his current weight.

so it’s true that Culver had a little bit of a growth spurt, he was listed as 6’5 as a freshman, and now he is closer to 6’7 with shoes on, I want to see his athleticism results but he didn’t want to do the test. KZ Okpala for me is the winner his height and athletecism was good for his size.
