There is news that Paul will give real consideration to the Spurs this offseason as he is seeking a chance to contend. I mentioned this in a previous post, but it bears mentioning again.

When you are going to make over 200 million dollars in your career, there comes a point where the money stops being an issue for a guy like Paul.

So, let’s look at a few star players who are in less than desirable basketball situations. Factoring in only basketball/organization when making these decisions (and leaving out city and money factors for the sake of this argument.) Where would you put these guys where they could possibly compete with GS?

    Chris Paul (San Antonio, Utah)
    Paul Millsap (Utah, Boston)
    Gordon Hayward (Utah, Boston)
    Kyle Lowry (San Antonio, Utah)

I Keep coming up with three teams that are good enough right now and could actually pull it off where these guys could compete with the Cavs/Warriors at some level in the next three years.

    What do you see?
