gatorheelsParticipantApparently Villanueva wants to play for the Cavs and of course the Cavs want him as well. Villa will be a pretty big upgrade over Varejo. The Cavs are going to be tough to beat next year no doubt about it.

ctw724ParticipantFirst, Mo Williams and now possibly C.V.?
Who is running that organization anyway, Dan Ferry’s brother?

detroit_pistonsParticipantCharlie V will not put the Cavs over the hump. Mark it down. The Cavs got DESTROYED by the Magic. And the Magic didn’t even have Jameer Nelson. Mo Williams is not an all star and Lebron James couldn’t do anything else to beat the Magic by himself.

QHaynes123Im tired of guys who are OK players, going to teams with stars and get a whole bunch of love during the season.
Charlie V is good and he could be a 20-8 type guy with LBJ. But, when the playoffs come around…all the guards and tall small forwards will harass LBJ and most of those team have good PF’s and C’s.
In the End, I think Cleveland needs to get a 6-6, 6-7 SG to get some pressure off LBJ

jaycee24ParticipantWell its lookin like Michael Redd shoulda signed with the Cavs a couple of year ago. Now He’s stuck on The F^%$S in stead of the Cavs. He might of been able to put them over the hump

PringlesParticipantThey need to keep Varejo AND add a guy (Charlie’s a good fit actually).
Losing Varejo would be a big blow to the Cavs, Z and Ben are DONE.

TH38L4CKM4M84They dont need another soft big. Instead they need a legitimate post presence because that was embarrasing how badly dwight howard owned varajeo ilgauskas or anyone that was guarding him. If Charlie V could play all his games at home and someone could sub in for him on defense i’d take him but if hed have to play the 4 hell get abused.
I hope the cavs learned that you cant win in the playoffs by playing three undersized 2 guards. I dont know why mike brown felt obligated to play szczerbiak, he has to be the worst player in the league right now. He couldnt create his own shot or even make a shot if he got one off and i doubt if he can even touch the rim. But at least thats $13 off the books. And theyll have even more money freed up next summer if they dont put some winning players around lebron.0 -

The8thDeadlySinParticipantHoward owns 90% of the people who do guard him so that isnt a big deal that 2 guys not really know for thier defence got owned. I would love to Amare or Boozer there but neither of them would happen. Maybe a guy like Odom or somethin. Its going to be interesting to see who comes and who goes to try to keep Lebron.

j1232eParticipantDo you think cleveland fans would accept a boozer return?
I think fans of cleveland will tell you that they despise the booz, but they sure as hell would cheer for him next year!0 -

The8thDeadlySinParticipantI think if Lebron accepted him, the fans would.

gatorheelsParticipantGlen Davis & Villanueva are free agents too and both would be good options I think. From the list above I would go with Boozer. Second would be Wallace.

nikeduck24ParticipantFirst, who wouldn’t want to go to Cleveland from Milwaukee. Second, Varejo is a very solid player, that is comfortable with everyone on the team.
