    New user, but I’ve been following the site for a few years now.  Curious what are your thoughts on this take on the current Carmelo trade, and if he would sign the extension if it were structured like this (obviously the Nuggets and Hornets would receive a plethora of draft picks as well):

    If New Orleans trades Chris Paul its to save money, Hamilton’s and Billups’ contract just adds money. I wouldn’t think they’d be willing to part with Jason Smith if they need to rebuild either. But Detroit and Denver’s side of the deal looks good.
