The GoatParticipantIf the ping pong balls fall in order then considering the is breakers are now done, Boston ends up with picks 8, 14, 22, 24 and 51 this draft. Their roster is out of balance and they are obviously in play for AD.
As New Orleans, if I could get Scary Terry and Jaylen Brown with these 4 first rd picks, I’d take it. I’d even take just 3 of the picks if they throw in Robert Williams. But that’s the level of offer I’d push for.
So who do you go after with a package if you are trader Danny?
AD? Zion? Lebron?! What is it going to take?

220ParticipantTerry Rozier is a restricted free agent so unless it’s a sign and trade he won’t be dealt this off-season.
With the combination of players and picks, I have to imagine Boston will be the first team New Orleans contacts about Anthony Davis. The only way I could see someone else beat Boston out for The Brow would be if a team was willing to deal an established young star for him.

Wahoo757ParticipantGrizzlies pick is top 8 protected. If the draft order holds, the Celtics won’t be getting their pick.

BleedGreen808ParticipantWhich is honestly what Celtics fans are hoping for. The pick becomes top 6 protected next season and then fully unprotected in 2021. Memphis tried to make sure the pick conveyed this season so they could rebuild while owning their own pick going forward.

HitsterParticipantI can see Ainge looking to package a couple of his first rounders to move up the draft if there was someone he likes given they have a fairly deep roster at the moment. My other thought is that they might look to stash at least one Euro guy if they used all their picks – Doumbouva and Bitadze are both within their draft range.
Also their slight lack of frontcourt size could mean they keep a very close look at Bol Bol. They could bring him along slowly, he’d have Horford and likely Baynes to help mentor him and he’d go to a successful team immediately.

BleedGreen808ParticipantIf Boston isn’t able to trade for AD by draft night then I’m all for taking a shot at Bol Bol with the 14th pick (assuming he’s still on the board).

The GoatParticipantI’ll be surprised if he’s still there after 8

BleedGreen808ParticipantOh I agree if his medicals check out then it would be unlikely to see him still there at 14. If the Memphis pick does end up conveying then perhaps they take him with that pick.

HitsterParticipantI agree if Bol Bol is cleared for workouts and inpresses then someone is going to take a flyer on him especially teams with more than one pick available,
