Would it be crazy for the Pelicans to trade Jrue Holiday in a package to Minny for Lamelo Ball? Lamelo and Lonzo in the backcourt with B.I and Zion in the front court could be nasty. TWolves got the contracts in James Johnson and Evan Turner to make the money work and deal could be expanded to include the likes of Favors or Culver. Jrue is what the Wolves badly need in a defensive minded leader and Ball fits the Pelicans timeline better than Jrue.

It wouldn’t be crazy considering Jrue Holiday is that good. The problem is that he’s pretty old. I think the only it would be a strong possibility if New Orleans also gave them Pick 13 and if Favors were to sign an extension in a deal to Minnesota then I think you can throw in Culver. Rumor is that Minnesota is already out on him. They actually moved up to get Garland and then Cleveland did a move that didn’t make sense even though Belien wanted him and take another small PG that can’t pass. I think both Garland and Culver could get dealt this off-season so I don’t think a deal like that is crazy.

The Woves might have done something stupid like this in years past, but with Rosas in charge they won’t. Don’t look for them to have the number one pick come draft night. I look for them to move down and draft someone that plays defense like Vassel or Okoro.

Good idea I like it. Not sure if they win much but it would definitely sell tickets haha.

I’m not a fan of this idea. Jrue is such a versatile player who can fill so many different roles. Plus he provides a veteran presence that the pelicans sorely need. LaMelo is a wild card whose shooting ability is suspect at best. Pairing him with Lonzo and Zion could be fun but creates some major issues regarding spacing.
