In 1985, the Pistons found the other half of their backcourt that would lead them to back to back titles. Dumars was a steady reliable presence on both offense and defense. Dumars played his entire 14 year career with the Pistons. He made six all-star teams and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006.

Wright is a pretty sad story. At 7-2, he was a huge guy who was drafted on potential, but has battled some pretty serious demons in his life. He got into legal troubles his rookie season, and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. His career lasted only 15 games. He has battled drug addiction and mounting health problems since.

That 1985 Draft had some Thugs in it, I would to have some of these dudes if I’m in a Street Fight!! maybe the Toughest draft class ever.. lol. And talent wise was Vastly Underrated. It featured 4 Future Hall of Famers -Ewing,Karl Malone,Chris Mullin and Dumars. I think 10 guys Appeared in an All Star Game -Ewing,Malone,Dumars,Mullin, Detlef, Xavier McDaniels,Charles Oakley,AC Green,Terry Porter and Michael Adams(drafted in 3rd round) . A few notables Poppa Sabonis was drafted in 4th round by the Hawks.Manute Bol, Adrian Branch,Hot Rod Williams, Mario Elie, Sam Mitchell,Joe Klein, Terry Catledge. Ed Pin
