valentine
the answer is duke with both of them.
Kyrie Irving the best freshmen pg in college.
Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler both won a title last year and were studs
Mason and Miles Plumlee are big athletic big man who show lots of potential.is there anybody who has a better starting five? that team is stacked
Seth Curry coming off the bench he is 6-2 180-185 now and can shoot the lights out. his freshman year he dropped 20+ on clemson and virginia two ACC schools
Andre Dawkins is another great shooter.
Josh Hairston is a high energy guy with a good mid range jumper who plays the four
Ryan Kelly didnt play much last year but is a matchup problem being 6-10 with a three point stroke
He needs to get stronger but i think he’s going to improve big time.I dont think anybody has a better bench either? anybody can think of one?
Its going to be a repeat next year. Duke is preseason number one for sure

McWinningParticipantIn terms of depth Missouri has the best in the country i think. You have Safford, English, Dixon, Denmon, and Bowers returning as well as Moore whos a good shotblocker, add in the best juco player, and another Juco all american, as well as two 5 star recruits, and Kadeem Green who should be a good defender, good quickness, 6-9, 7-4 wingspan, and a 38 inch vertical, he could develop into a first round pick, and Kreklow will make an impact as a very good three point shooter.

leppyParticipantI’m not sure if your talking about starters or bench players but i have not heard of one of these players. Not one would start for duke for one thing

leppyParticipantits hard to call kelly a bust when he hasnt played. no one can block his shot. look how much miles plumlee developed after his freshman year. and where would these players start and over who? smith and singler averaged 17ish points a game last year and are seniors and kyrie is the best freshman pg out there.
all the players you named are backups? curry is going to be great not good. its crazy hes not starting somewhere.
are ratliffe and mitchell starters for missouri? and what did missouri do last year?

McWinningParticipantThey made it to the second round with one of their best players injured in a rebuilding year, They were just as close to beating West virginia as Kentucky was and Kentucky probably has 5 first rounders, it was a rebuilding year anyway, Rattliffe and Mitchell didnt play for them last year, Ratlife was the top junior college player in the country last year, while Mitchell is maybe the best incoming recruit in the Big 12. Duke has the much better starting lineup but i think they have a deeper bench.

leppyParticipantmissouri is looking good for the future but mitchell is a four star on scout.com. you got to be on crack to think he would start over smith or singler. i cant take anything you say seriously anymore. a juco wouldnt start for duke either. that ratliffe guy does look impressive but he wouldnt take over the starting spot from mason plumlee at pf. anybody can dominate junior college. missouri is looking good for the future but they have a season of experience needed for them and are not final four material.
dawkins and kelly are better shooters than anybody on missou bench. and four bench players is enough for duke. missou is deeper yes but better. no chance

McWinningParticipantYou said anyone can dominate junior college? how come in one year Darrington Hobson was putting up better stats than he did in junior college and was able to be an All-American? same for Aubrey Coleman, How can Freddy Asprillo go from averaging 14 and 9 in division one, to 7 and 5 in junior college when he failed to make grades?
Scout.com must be on crack, most sites have Mitchell as a top 15 recruit, rivals predicts that hell have a bigger freshman impact than Perry Jones, hes a power forward anyways.

bullsfan121212not sure what sites that say he is a top 15 talent. i only look at scout.com and espn. they both have josh hairston higher than him. espn rated him 24th. and plumlee was top 20 in those sites and has a year experience. i dont listen to rivals. it took them a month to put kenny boyton to florida after all the other sites had it. espn says he would be dukes third pf since they rated josh hairston higher. and scout did have him listed at sf.
and players do drugs dont work out and other things than make there game worse. it happens. plus the coach, offensive scheme and playing time all matter tooo. can’t answer why they did better in division 1 than in juco
what sites have him top 15. and can you please list the people who you think will actually be bench players for missou. cuz it sounds like mitchell and the good juco are starting
and this is leppy other name as well

McWinningParticipantIve done a little researching on junior college players, did you know Art Parakhouski played two years in juco and only averaged 10.1 points and 6.4 rebounds, and as a senior this year he averaged 21.4 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks.

McWinningParticipantWell actually this site has Kadeem Green their fourth highest rated recruit rated ahead of Hairston. Im not even going near to saying Missouri will be the better team, they should be a top 10 team, maybe even top 5, in fact i expect Duke to repeat, but the thing is their very deep, well coached, remember Mike Anderson led a team of 2, and 3 star recruits to the Elite eight, now hes getting elite recruits, i cant say for sure who will start, but they will have 6 high quality backups next year.
